Hi Vici, Saw Sarah a couple of years ago doing the Harem tour her in Melbourne. Also have the same on DVD. Been a big fan for years but never got to see her in Phantom. She originally started as a back up singer back in the 70's for a british comedian called Jasper Carrot. If you ever get the chance try to catch a duo called Secret Garden. You might find them on YouTube. The most calming music you'll ever hear. Catch you later.

Hi Vici! Kinda hard to type with tears in my eyes, what a great utube!!! It was so nice to chat with you earlier, I went right back to work on the steps and they are now done! I just looked at my photo galery...and realized that some of the pics came out huge and some small. Don't know why...I'll have to look at how I imported them.
I've tried to submit pics before for a puzzle..but most are too big. Have to figure out how to resize.

when I worked in the Northern Territory,on an Aboriginal community, I was given a bag of Emu eggs, from some of the local women, well one survived, so I called her Terese after one of the ladies that gave her to me, when she was around 6 months old a few of the older men, were teasing me saying she is getting to a very yummy age, so I made the decision to send her to Darwin, to a wildlife park, where she could live out her life in peace, aproximately 8 months later I went to Darwin for a weekend and thought I might go and see her, the guy in the park said call out the way you did at home, so I called Theresa, he said Terry may have been a better name ( a He not a She) there was a large group of Emus on the other side of this large fenced off area, all with their heads down grazing, one head came straight up, and charged at me, this emu thought I was Mum, but at 6 feet in height there was no way I was hanging around, so with help from the guy i was able to pat him without getting hurt myself. Dont think I will ever forget, he remembered me. But then I was the first thing he saw when I hatched him.

I have tried to get back to you several times, but first tit was the contractor finishing my kitchen and then the sever. There were several days when getting to sudoku was impossible. ( Didn't help that my hands are not working well and typing has been very slow and difficult.) It was nice of you to say yu would pick me up, but I live an hour from SF, and in the wrong direction for you. I think you would come in on 101, and I live just off 880. The dreaded Nimitz. It looks like I will not be able to come, as my daughter will be in Monterey with her husband. Maybe some day they will find a cure. Haha. Thank you Dorthea

Thanks so much for your kind words of congratulations! I am really looking forward to the playoffs in Hilton Head. Jaime and I will be renting a condo on the beach with my partner and his wife for the entire weekend - regardless of whether we bomb out the first day!!!

Hi, Vici! That was quite a match today! Although I wanted Rafa to win, Murray deserved it. He was playing brilliantly. He has a really good shot at the title tomorrow (even though I'll be cheering for Roger). I'll bet it goes 5 sets. I'm also betting Serena wins tonight in straight sets: 6-3, 6-4. Let's see how far off I am!!!

Hi, Vici! I'm not great about working with photos, but here's what I do to change the size. First of all, I downloaded Picasa (a free Google photoshop). Picasa sets up a parallel gallery to whatever else you have (mine is Windows). So after you've scanned a picture to your gallery, go find it in Picasa and follow these steps: click on the picture (don't open it, just select it). In the upper left hand corner, click on "file". Then click on "export picture to folder". Then name the folder (in my case it was "THE HOTTIE DAYS". Then change the settings in "resize to...." I am usually decreasing the size of my photos, but I assume it works just as well increasing them. Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I usually enter "640" in the "resize to...." box, and that size seems to work well.

Hi Vici! - I am just stopping to return the hug! I didn't have a chance to get onto the site until last night. We went and had dinner with our oldest son and his wife and spent the afternoon with them. It was nice. We don't get to spend much time with them. (Christina is the "Glass-maker.!) Thanks so much for all the nice comments about my various posts you have just left. Few people had seen my photographs, artwork, poems and other writing before I joined this site, and my previously low confidence has received a necessary boost from Sudokuist responses such as yours. The two of my posts I like best are the Poem about the 'Fly in the Soup' and my original treatise on the 'Causes of the Great Sumatran Earthquake', but I guess the piccy things are easier to digest by busy people. I am unutterably busy right now with a Court case, otherwise I would spend time looking at your pages - but I really am sweating blood right now. When things ease I hope to catch up with Sudokuland and its marvellous population of good souls.

I must quickly add that I think your hottie [pics are really great - especially the windsurfing one.
