HI there Gail, Thanks so much for the birthday greetings. It was actually 26th but 29th is certainly close enough :) Hadn't been on Sudoku this week It has been a week of early mornings - leaving the house at 6.15 and 6.30 to drive out to a school at the back of Litchfield... but at least I was in my own bed and doing the same thing each day. Am off to Gunn Point in 20 mins for the morning.. looking for fossils with Dru and his brother and sister- in law. I was talking to my sister in Melb and she said it was a hot night in MElb last night. Hope that Cockatoo was a little cooler being higher up. Ciao :) say hi to Anne and Ian when chatting :)

Just saw from your comments that your father hasn't been well. Am sorry to hear it. Hope he is better soon. It's hard isn't it when our parents age and become frailer. My darling 89 yo mother is recovering from a heart procedure at the moment. She's made of solid stuff my Mum. :)

Thanks Gail, it'll be a long haul but I know I can do it (as you say, I've done it before and as long as I can manage to stay healthy and not get injured I'll be right.) The main problem is that I want to do around 15 minutes better than my PB, so I need to put in a lot more work in training.

Hi Gail, just could not resist answering your little note...I miss you! I miss you too and do not know for sure when I will be back. I feel that I have been out of it for too long and I would have too much catching up to do.
I am back at home since september but had a very hard time with my health...thank God all is back to normal now and I am ready to celebrate...Christmas is around the corner and I am wishing you the very best. I will try to drop in again soon...Take care!

Thanks Gail, I certainly will let you know if I make it for a visit. My sister & her husband are having a wonderful time already. They are having a little vacation before she starts her job. The children are complaining that they are bored, but I'm sure once they start school & make some friends, they'll be just fine!

Thank you Gail for the anniversary wishes. I usually do remember even though my wife doesn't but with starting my Christmas holidays and preparing for interstate visitors, it was until we sat down to have a drink and watch a bit of TV late at night, we even gave it a thought.
The other thing is that this is the first year we've been empty nesters, so no kids to remind us.
Loved the bouquet. The look very like Mr. Lincolns which we have growing.
