Hi Ian.... That picture is of a cross between a pinto pony and a Zebra. This picture was taken at around 1 year old. I ran across it on the internet. Cool, huh?

Thanks for your reply, Ian "Yes Judy, it is still on for September 2nd."
Prayers are still on for you as well. You are how many hours ahead of CDT in the US -- 13 or 15? Anyway, hey, I'll start the prayers NOW.

Ian, thanks for your note. I am so glad to hear that all went well -- I knew it would but it's good to have it confirmed. You are one in a million, dear man -- and very well loved. Take care and do whatever Anne tells you to!

Ian - I am so glad you are all right! I was worried when we hadn't heard from you for awhile. So happy the surgery went well. My hubby had heart surgery 15 years ago and hasn't had a problem since (at least with his heart!!!) Looking forward to more of your wonderful photography!

Ian, my love, I'm SO glad the heart surgery went well yesterday. I know the worry and problems this condition has caused you for some time, and I'm delighted that you'll be doing better.
Just try to rest, and take it easy for a while. Remember that it was the slow and steady Tortoise that won the race, not the Hare.

I hope you and Anne have and will look forward to seeing you around the traps.

Oopss....made a mess on your page with the wrong smilie....don't ask how I did that!!! Hope I don't start everyone thinking you are are off on a journey other than the road to recovery.... perhaps I should stick to the written word and not the smilie message!!

I hope you don't feel the need to even think of trying to reply to any of us...we just all want to let you know that you are in our thoughts and that we care. NOT to make you feel obligated to write. Take care..

Hi, Ian! Do take care. I will miss your posts. Tell the nurse to bring you a laptop, that way you can rest and post from bed! Remember laughter is the best medicine and we're good for a chuckle or two.

Hello Ian, it is lovely to see you back!! Keep up the rest and recovery routine, and remember that sleep really is a grand healer. You will remain in my thoughts, take care, and make sure to do everything that Anne requests!!!

BTW Our holiday was wonderful, we covered almost 8000 km, and saw some of the most fantastic countryside. Something for you and Anne to look forward to when you are recovered! All my best wishes to you.

Hi Ian, I am sorry to hear that you have been in hospital. (I haven't been able to read all the posts lately. So didn't know.) I hope you are getting better now. My dad comes home today and everyone says that with the pacemaker he will soon be able to do most of the things he has been unable to do the last year or so. Say "hi" to Anne for me.

Thank you for explaining about your op. It sounds quite formidable. It is amazing what Doctors can do now to fix hearts etc. My daughter has a heart condition called "Wolff Parkinson-White Syndrome", which is an abnormality of the electrical pathways in the heart. She has episodes of More...

tachycardia, dizziness, chest palapialions and sometimes fainting. She had a procedure at the London Heart Hospital late last year and will have to have check ups soon in Sydney now that she is back in Australia. My dad is going well after his Pacemaker op and is back at home here in Dubbo. Get well soon so that you can go on more treks in your mobile home

Hi Ian, thanks for the note on my page. I didn't know you were not well till the comment on the sudoku page. I was pretty busy but I had noticed you hadn't been around - just assumed you'd gone off on a trip! Hopefully now you will be able to get away on many trips as you had wanted to! Thanks again for you concern for my father.

Hello Ian, you have certainly had a wonderful succession of fabulous cars in your time.
Now you've also got the camper van to add to the list.

Hi Ian, just dropped in to say hello and found out that you had a heart surgery. So glad to also read that you are doing well. I will be sending you a note later to let you know how our summer went. I always knew that your heart was huge. Thanks for being there for me.

Hello Ian: Thank you so much for your kind words. I am still trying to learn all the ins and outs of the new camera. It is quite frustrating when I come home to find a beautiful shot of two swans where one is out of focus and the furthest one is sharp as a tack. (I think it is more an eye problem than a camera problem)
I just hung up the phone from talking to my cousins in Cuba. They don't tell me how things really are. They insist they are doing well, regardless of the lack of electricity and water! The only indication of a lack of food was when one of them made a comment in passing. We are trying to help them from here - as much as or respective governments allow us.
