Thanks for your Birthday wishes. Mom flew up here for the weekend and we celebrated with a huge 10½" Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. I have to admit it was one of my best and hope you enjoy a piece with me for breakfast/lunch.

It was 100° both days over the weekend - was suppose to go up to 106° today but is now slated for 95° today. Going to a BBQ tonight & sharing ice cold cherries.

Hi Mary, saw your comment about Long Grove and Geneva. Long Grove was so much fun - what was the restaurant that always did the Fridy night fish fry? And Geneva is such a cool little town, absolutely love going to the Fall Festival weekend. One of my favorite restaurants a few years back(okay more than a few) was 302 in Geneva. I'm mostly just a looker too, but there are some really nice things to be had in both those towns! I miss that whole area in the fall when the leaves are changing. Naperville too, as my sister used to live there but has now made it out west here with me. My SIL lives in Batavia though, so we still get out in the area once in a while and my parents still live in Des Plaines. Thanks for reminding me of some good times!

However, the new Dinosaur National Mounument Visitors Center won't be complete until next year. We have dinosaurs to spare - they're always finding new ones around here.
