Thanks for posting Neil Diamond. My favorite artist. Have seen him 5 times in concert. The first time was his first appearance at the Greek Theater. We had seats center section 10 rows from the stage. We returned the next night and were what they refered to as 'Tree People'. The next time he returned to the Greek Theater was when they recorded Hot August Night - our seats were further back - to say the least, but still in a reasonable position. If you listen to this concert, he refers to the 'Tree People'. The next concert, I got in line at 2 am (Aug 1, 1973(?))and they had given line numbers to those in line by midnight to return at 8 a.m. Limit 2 tickets to a person. This could have called the 'Cool September Eve' concert (about the same time as Sept. Morn came out)and the seats were in last row at the Greek after they added a seventh concert (before the expansion. The next time we saw him was at the Forum - no waiting in line - just called as Kings season ticket holders and picked them up at will call. Those season tickets came in good for something besides going home depressed. However, the acoustics there did not compare to the Greek Theater. The last time was free tickets from a neighbor, who set up the sound at the Greek for his performance. The seats were not bad, they were in the new area - off to the side, but nearer than the last time we saw him at the Greek.

Hello Greg,
Thanks for dropping by, no I haven't posted mush lately, unfortunatly my partner did his shoulder at footy (Australian Rules Football) and has been home for the last 3 weeks, thankfully he went back to work last Monday.

The only craft project I have made lately is one I cannot post a photo of until next week, so when I post it I will let everyone know.

Hopefully now that my partner is back at work I will be around a little bit more

Hello Greg - I'm bored at work with nothing much to do so thought I would call in and say 'hello'. I won't play the Barbara Streisand song now because the BOSS might hear it and he doesn't like it if we make too much noise. Stupid old twit!
Sleep well.

Hi, Greg. Thanks for the visit. Life's been pretty busy for me of late with extra family commitments. I still visit the pages regularly - usually pretty late in the day - and do the puzzles and read some of the comments, if they catch my interest. I haven't made any posts for some time. Does this make me a lurker?
I hope you're enjoying a fine summer holiday period, while we experience grey skies, cold winds and rain - but we don't complain about that while our water storages are still dangerously low.

Okay, I've now re-booted my computer and got my keyboard working so can now type a comment. I'd better say that I always think Bette Middler and Barbara Streisand are very similar but not that they share the same name. My mistake but I haven't watched the video yet and couldn't remember who was on it.

Hi Greg. Life is continuing here 'down under' unless it has ended and I don't actually know it yet...
Don't think my brother-in-law will hand over Harry just yet and my neighbour will definitely not hand over Ellie.

Hi Greg, thanks for your welcome, not sure what a beavertail is but anything that's double chocolate fudge has to be good and maple syrup as well!! yum!!!

Sorry for the late post I had the cold from hell last week and didn't touch a computer all week (I was even to sick to get computer withdrawals). Lots of jigsaws to catch up on as well now.

I've been lurking for a while now but you guys sounded like such a nice bunch of people I thought I'd come and join in. Talk to you soon.

Hello Greg , how nice of you to think about me under these circumstances , i always enjoy your visit .
Situation in the north is near the end , as i hope , but the political one is not so good , nobody wants to sacrifice for the good of the country and people , they say they love the country , but in their own way . I doubt that anyone is working for the country . Some Arab countries are working now , i hope they will find a solution , it is becoming tiring now .
My family and me are fine , am waiting for the results of my son , if he passes the last exams , will graduate on the 13th of july . at least then i will have happy news .
thank you again .

Greg, thanks for dropping by.A lot of my antiques are family heirlooms and I did go to a bit of trouble to set up the Welcome photo to make it feel as though the sudoku family were really visiting me. You have some great photos on your site. I have not been to India although Hubby, son, and one daughter have.
The ship in the photo has been washed in even further by the look of the news reports. I was only visiting the area when it came in in the storm. There were 54 ships waiting to enter the port and they were all advised to go out into deeper water. Four remained and at one time they thought the whole four might become shipwrecks. Salvage teams are working hard to pull it back out of the sand. It is a relatively new ship and double hulled. Some damage to the outer hull.Fortunately no oil spill.
Newcastle is about 2 hours drive north of Sydney and they have brought tugs from all around East coast of Australia to try and get it afloat in the next week when the tides are higher. Ship is the Pasha Bulker

Hey Greg: Thanks for the cards - I really do play solitaire, but mostly on the computer and who knows how many cards the computer has per deck. . I'd still have a hard time watching Capt Kangaroo, they took that off TV around here ages ago, and he died several years ago!

Greg, no need to apologise, I no how confusing it all gets with all the names here. I felt at the time that you were talking to me even if you had used the wrong name (Amelia left a post directly before you) - I felt that you were referring to my KT Tunstall youtube that was on at the time. Glad you enjoyed the Floyd

Go on Greg, admit that Elvis was the King. He had a great voice, great looks and not a bad body to go with it all. Oh, and he had charisma, too, but I must admit, perhaps not the best actor in the world.

Hi, CGreg! Hope you're having a great day! Here's a fresh box of Frango Mints for you to enjoy.

I really liked your story about the competing provinces and 'archaeologists!' Was there any truth to it - or just a very clever joke?

You're one of our members who 'keeps us in stitches.' (Do you have that idiom in Canada? If not, let me know and I'll explain.) Thanks for providing some light moments in our days!

Thanks for your latest visit, Greg. A fabulous time was had by all at Rosemary's party and the bar tour. My Melbourne friends didn't know the bars Gath took us to. Stopped by to wish you Happy Canada Day for Sunday, which is always special to me because it's my birthday. Have lovely memories of my visit to Canada in 1998 (Victoria, Esqimault, and Vancouver). We drove up from San Francisco via the coast and caught ferry over from Olympic peninsula to Victoria, then went by ferry to Vancouver, and drove back to SF by a more inland route.
