Hey! Greg, Thanks for visiting my page, sorry I took so long to respond. I haven't uploaded vids on my page for a while. I have been a little busy preparing for the crazy Perthites visit, amongst other things, but will make some time very soon. I am a Cat Stevens fan, I enjoyed.

Greg, you are quite right that I should consider us a threesome now! It's definitely like having a new baby in the house. Ebony is the subject of most of our conversations now. Since you are pretty computer savvy, could you tell me how I can restore the bottom rows of my smilies which are now missing from that page when I pull it up? No matter what we do we can't seem to make them appear on the screen. The last row I can see is the one with Thank You on the bottom right. So I have no thumb up & down or some of the others which I can't now even remember. Dang, it's maddening. I wrote to Gath but he couldn't help me. Any advice you could give would be appreciated.

Hello, Canuk Greg!
Thank you for your welcome message on my page, and that pastry. When I hear the word 'chocolate' I'm losing my mind.
I'm sorry, that my page still not done. (That is because my real life keeps me out of virtual reality ). Now, I promise that I will do it very soon. Hope that if I'd promised it to somebody beside myself I'll finally get it done...

Best regards, Vera.

Hello,
Of course, one can have granddogs. Grandcats are also acceptable. Once, I even had a great-grand hamster! I would not, however, want to have a grandcobra! nor a grandslug!

Hi Canuk Greg, for visiting my page again. The photos of Sydney were taken last year about this time (winter) when we were there for a show. Sydney is a great place to visit. Have you been to Australia? I know that you have travelled quite a bit - India. I would love to come to Canada one day.

Hi Greg that tune came back to me from my childhood and bought back fond memories of times gone by with my aunts and uncles singing around the piano played by my Mum. Unfortunately, all of them have passed on to better places.
Spike Jones was another favourite of mine and a few years ago I bought a CD of Spike Jones and his City Slickers. I had decided that if I left this planet without my children being exposed to the music of Spike Jones then I would have failed in my duty.
I too, have a collection of 78s which I went through a couple of years ago and converted them to CDs - I had found a programme called 'Cool Edit Pro' which did the conversion and cleaned up the 'clicks' and scratches at the same time. It took a while to find the right settings but then I set up a production line and converted all my favourites. It was one of life's little challenges, but I'm glad I made the effort.

Got your message. Of course you can have the picture of Captain Canuk. I was thinking of you when I found it. Just haven't had time to send it to you or make you aware of it. Then I forgot about it. Glad you want it.

Yes, I am relaxing between hauling my son to baseball games and practices. I also have good news. I found a new job at a charter school 1 mile from my house! I'm so excited. I'll be teaching spanish to high school kids.

I don't have any new pictures yet. Need a digital camera, but finances are very strained now, so it will have to wait a little longer. I do have DSL, so I can watch all the youtubes now. You have some of the best, my kinda music.

Thanks for sending me a message. I thought I was forgotten.

Utah--all I can say is 'yee-haw!' We had a great time, Greg. Rotary Convention for the first few days (all 16000 of them, from 147 countries) then off we went to Park City for golf and horseback riding--up steep, narrow trails, then down again; I was pretty pleased with my horsemanship! Great food, and yes, we took pictures--now I just have to get organized and get them on the site (plus there's still the picture of cat Arthur to post ...) One of these days ...
Hope all's well in the nation's capital--are you getting the humidity there? I'm dying, I tell you! Cheers and thanks for the cheery welcome home.

Glad you enjoyed the White Rabbit. I've always liked that song. Don't know if it was the message, the arrangement, the band or Grace. Hmmm. Seals and Croft make a good counterpoint. Took me back to my college days.

Hello Greg - It was so nice to have you visit! We have had such an exciting spring this year. Our youngest child graduated from High School! She is already enrolled in college and starts soon. She is going to the Local Community College to start and will transfer later to a university. (Hopefully, this will keep some of the cost down.) She wants to go into Psychology. She was thinking for children, but would like to keep that part open for the time being. Billy, our 19 year old, has decided to go into Criminal Justice and has just completed his first two classes.

We purchased property in Virginia 17 years ago with dreams of retiring there. (My husband retired last year.) So, we are going to try to go down to Virginia for the month of August. We would like to rent a place for a year, just to make sure that is what we really want to do, but we won't do that for at least another year. The 'Old Homestead' on our property is just an old barn. I am also afraid if we wait too long to move, my children will be starting families and I won't want to leave then!

I thought of you last week. We were watching old family videos and stumbled on one from Canada. I had forgotten how beautiful it is up there at Rock Lake. We have no plans of going up there, but I would really like to take the Agawa (SP) Canyon Train again. It was so much fun and such beautiful scenery. That might be a fun Sudoku Get-together!

As far as my musical instruments go, I play them! I joined a Mountain Band here locally about 4 years ago. We have a lot of fun. When people ask what we charge, we tell them we play for food!(he-he) We don't want to get into the money thing. We have played for nursing homes, Senior Citizen groups, Veterans, locally in town etc. We just have a lot of fun. We play Old Time Blue Grass and Gospel. My mountain dulcimer is tuned to the key of D and when I try to retune it to another key, I break strings, so I just leave it in that key. I can play all keys on my violin and bowed psaltery. I have fun playing these instuments because I can't take my piano with me!

I hope to post some Virginia and North Carolina pictures this Fall. Please stop back in September to check them out.

Do you have any summer plans? Do you ever get to the Lower Penninsula of Michigan?

Hello Greg; Here I am, page 28. You are a very popular fellow.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. Last Monday I took the day off to visit some of my favorite hangouts. I could not figure out why the dragonflies kept flying to my blouse, until I looked down. Every centimeter of my clothes were covered by mosquitoes. I had sprayed my arms, face, neck and ears....but not my clothes! I am the only fool that will venture to the Everglades in summer thus the dragonflies favorite person.
Perhaps one day I will be able to go over all the photos I have and come up with a decent photographic essay of my favorite places in S. Florida.
If I ever do, I will make sure to let you all know as I will be needing a lot of p. r.

As for traveling well short trips to visit my grandson but soon he'll be moving to North Carolina where his daddy is going to be stationed for the next 4 years. . Looks like I'm going to see a state I never had plans to visit! I'll live vicariously on your trips through your pictures. hello CGreg. thanks for the visit. yes, we went to Grand Isle, LA last Saturday. it had been on our list of places to see. we had planned to spend the weekend, but we got there before the room was ready, so by the time we messed around at the beach, the butterfly dome, had lunch under a shelter from our picnic basket, and drove the length of the island, it was time to check in. since we had done everything the island has to offer (except for fishing), we cancelled our reservation and drove home. LOL. a book called The Awakening was set on Grand Isle and it is supposed to be the summer mecca for New Orleans elite. It's very different from east and west coast beach islands. It is for the fishermen. that'd be great if we had a boat to go out onto the gulf. All in all, we had a great day. i still plan to take a photo of Murphy, our Westie, with his new doggles (doggie goggles). he's a hoot.

wow, CG, lucky you, to have so many great music venues in Canada as well as musicians who are from Canada. The local public radio station here is honoring Canada Day by playing Canadian musicians. It is a long list. Neil Young, Robbie Robertson, Joni Mitchell, Ray Bonneville, Leonard Cohen (I think). The list is endless.

Hi Greg, I just stopped by to wish you and all my Canadian friends a Happy Canada Day. My YouTube today is specially dedicated to those friendships.
I am concerned about your flu. My only suggestion is for you to drink plenty of 'Screech', it may not cure your flu but it will sure help you to forget it.
Cheers.

hi greg,
i just did your nice goose puzzle on today's hard page, and wondered if you knew we have a chain of wawa convenience stores in the midatlantic states, named for the pennsylvania town named wawa and the wawa dairy in it that produced and sold wawa milk. their slogan on every bottle was 'wawa to the american indian meant wild goose.' the dairy is long gone but the brand is still used for wawa store products,
so i'm sending you a cold glass of wawa chocolate milk!
cheers!
