Amelia, I hope your family's celebration of your father's life was as helpful for you as my mother's service was for me.
The love that we felt from the family and friends who came to support us through was almost overwhelming. It makes your heart swell with pride to think so many wanted to pay their respects.
As one of our sudoku family members said to me, "The measure of your pain is a measure of your love". It does hurt, but I know my love for my mother and the love she had for us, will go on in my heart forever.
May each day be a little easier to get through.

Please don't worry about thanking me, as I know you've had many a visit here, and more importantly, I know you'd be showing me the same love and support.

Please take care of you!

Good luck with the buyers Amelia.

We bought some fruit trees yesterday, but I am not sure whether we will keep them in tubs or put them in the ground. In two minds as to whether we will stay here for many years or sell up once the kids are gone (when and if they ever leave!).

Gday mate, just wondering how you are doing a few more weeks down the track?
Things are ok here. I am able to think of Mum and smile...most of the time. Still have the 'choke' moments, but pleased to say they are becoming fewer by the day.
Take care,
Gail

Dear Amelia - Thank you for your kindness. I am very sorry to hear about your son also. Life is very hard to understand sometimes.

Jeremiah was buried on his 24th birthday and beside his natural father. Life is precious and I treasure the time I had with him.

Thanks, again, for your kind words.

Hi Amelia, congratulations on the house buying and selling.
There's still no news of when I'll be heading your way. I'm waiting for hubby to recover from his shoulder surgery and for everyone else at work to have their holidays first.
I imagine after the news from Afghanistan this week, that my sister will not be very happy for Mark to be going there. He leaves on 28th April.
Happy house packing.

Amelia, the date is set. We will be in Salamander Bay from 6th June (Queens B/day weekend) until the 14th - travelling home on the Monday. Katrina has the week off work and we will also be bringing my mother with us.
I hope we can catch up for coffee and a chat while I'm there.
Mark left for Afghanistan last week - currently in Kuwait prior to moving on. He is due home late August. We're all praying for the time to pass really quickly (and safely of course).

Amelia, I have the good fortune of having DSL and can definitely tell you that it is the speed of the operator, not the computer, that gets the great times for the jigsaw puzzles. I quit worrying about time and started enjoying the ability to have a "background" project to work on while waiting for other stuff to download, etc. (I get audio books, music, & movies). Sometimes it takes me most of the day to finish one puzzle. LOL - much less wear and tear on the nervous system! Glad to know others enjoy the site.

Computers are wonderful until they take a mind of their own ... And, the message from you is a figment of my computer's imagination.

It was nice to hear from you anyway and glad you enjoyed the flash dance.

Nice car that Bill just got. That is a serious off-road vehicle.

Just be glad he chose that over the 34 year old blond in his mid-life crisis.
