Amelia, that's what I get for reading too fast - confusion! I saw Judy from San Diego's comment about your upcoming 45th anniv. in reply to your wishes for HER 40th anniv. in June '09 & mistakenly thought it was YOUR anniv., not hers. Rob & I are somewhere in between you two. We celebrated our 42nd anniv. on June 17. And tomorrow is his 65th birthday!! My how the years have flown!

Thanks for visiting my page, I hope you enjoy your travels. We spent 3 months touring around Australia when I first retired from teaching. We did it in a tent because we didn't want to tow a van. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed stsying at all the caravan parks and meeting lots of interesting Grey Nomads. We put the car onto the Ghan and The Indian Pacific that was wonderful.
Happy 2010, wishing you good health so you can enjoy your trip.

Hi Amelia, thanks for the birthday wishes! Apart from having to go to work (and even that was ok, I work with a great bunch of people) it's been a great day, and with several hours still to go.

Hi Amelia, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I arrived back home last week but have been down with the flu since then. I really enjoyed the Shaun Micallef/Stephen Curry show as Pete & Dud, it was very funny. They did the skit that is on my You Tube and they did it very well although slightly differently to P & D. I also went to the Christmas Carols in the main concert hall and that was special too. I couldn't ask for a better first visit to the Opera House!

Great to hear you are visiting Tasmania. Our Christmas visitors have just returned to Sydney after their annual sojourn. I've not had time to visit the site much since just before Christmas.
We usually say the weather is okay until Easter after which it seems to deteriorate. This might only be because we lose daylight savings about then and it is darker earlier.
Weather will definitely be cool at night Winter nightwear definitely needed. Days will probably be variable from coolish 16 -17 maximum to cold 10C during the day. Hopefully however sunny.If you are in the Central highland or West Coast it is quite possible to get snow.
We always say wear layers of clothing which you can take off or put on as required.
We live virtually in the Hobart Centre. Postcode 7000.
We'd love to have you for a meal or alternatively go out for a meal whichever you prefer.
We're going to Sydney for Easter but will be home on Easter Tuesday.
Let us know what you want to do. If you want any other info please ask.
Back to work Monday. Not looking forward to it.

Hi Amelia, sorry I missed you too. I have met two other Sudoku people here in Dubbo, Ian (plus his wife)and June, her husband, daughter and granddaughter. All from Sydney. My sister, Kate from Sydney, is also a member so I know at least three other Sudoku people.

Maybe you were disconcerted to find someone else in your outfit, but I can only imagine your DIL's reaction ... it must have been horrifying to find yourself in the same design as your mother-in-law!
