Deb, Thanks. I think my D-I-L is beautiful, PG or otherwise. Her very talented Aunt/friend took that picture. Johana is only 6 months older than Ashley, and they have been lifelong friends. I am only keeping stats, it is up to the others at to whether or not you can change your guess.(I would say yes..I think it is way low)

Hello Deb! - Wow! Such exciting news! A grandfather twice in one week. What a lucky man! Congratulations to everyone. I am glad mom and baby are doing okay. Your pictures are great. I enjoyed lookiing at them.

Hi Deb - I am just checking in. Did Rick make it back home this week? It cooled off here considerably yesterday. We are enjoying the cooler weather. It won't last long though. It is suppose to warm up again next week. It is about 16 (C) this morning.

Hi Deb - I am so glad to hear things are back to normal for you. I don't know about Nal's dog. I have had my neice for two weeks and I haven't kept up with everything.

I think I might have to do the same thing later this year or next. We are selling the building in Merivale St and moving the business futher south. I think the travelling will just be too much.

Oh, Deb, I'm sorry that I missed your request of finding info about various places. Let me tell you about our Santa Monica Mountains, the youngest mountain range, still growing! You can start on the valley side and hike over the top to the ocean, a magnificent view. We've got so many little cultural spots, like Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Little Saigon, Little Ethiopia, Koreatown and so on. You could around the world in my home town! If ever you come to LA, look me up!

Chez Laila is near the Maritime Museum - entry via Ernest & Little Stanley Sts (parking is at the entry to the gardens). It is also close to South Bank (formerly known as Vulture St) Railway station. There is a ferry terminal close by.

Chez Laila is a lebanese restaurant which serves burgers, focacias, bagels, chips, salads along with the traditional lebanese food. They also have a cabinet devoted to delicious cakes/desserts. They serve coffees etc and are also licenced.
