Hi Rolanda,
You're welcome about the Dahlia photo comment - My Dad used to grow Dahlias and they were magnificent but I didn't appreciate them at the time. I don't think the gardens in Perth are doing well this year. I am not a very good gardener most things I touch die in the garden.

Hi Rola, just stopped by (as I saw your recipes that looked enticing) and wanted to compliment your lovely photos - terrific, and I love the flowers. I also liked the avatar - most of us don't know Perth well, and that was neat.

Hello Rolanda - I left a message for you on my jigsaw photo but you may not go back in and check so thought I'd comment on your page also.
The photo was taken the other weekend when I wanted to get a photo out of windfarm in the morning. Johnathan and I went out there early and it's taken looking back towards the Gap & Natural Bridge at Sand Patch, which is popular for fishing if you want to walk up the dozens of wooden steps with your fish!!

Hi Rolanda,
I was having a look at your photos and noticed some Bussleton ones - so I dipped into my files and found some as well - you inspired me. I love the kangaroos in Jarrahdale - wonderful shot!

Hi Rolanda,
for dropping by and being the first to wish me a happy birthday.
It was a highlight of my day finding messages from all the people that I have grown to know and enjoy frittering away the hours......spending far tooo much time ..............my poor house will never be the same!! Do I look like I care? [pity hubby does!]
Catch you later..

Hi Rolanda! You so rarely post more then a g'day message that I sometimes wonder how busy your life has gotten. Hope all is well in your household. Missing your regular banter.

Rolanda, I saw on the message board that you had just taken a beautiful AUTUMN photo. I expected red and yellow leaves, pumpkins, corn stalks etc that we see in New England. But you have a beautiful tropical back yard! Shows my ignorance! Here in Florida I just came in from a beautiful SPRING day dragging out dead palm fronds and cutting back gardenias and hibuscus. In 91 degrees! Looks like you have done some lovely yard work too! Thanks for the photo.

Hello Rola, I'm sorry I did not keep in touch with you! This is Anew from Utah- and I found your posting from a year ago and I haven't been a very good friend. I'm going to try to be a better one from here on out :)

I love your photos!
Because there are so many people onsite, I likely won't go back any time soon to everyones old pages or the archives, so I'll keep intouch from here on out, if you'd like :)
And maybe one day I'll get the umph to really, truly catch up!

take care,
an old friend

Hi Rola! Left a comment on your Flickr photo of the chicken dish your son made for you. It looks SO good! Does he cook very often? Hope you had a nice Mother's Day. I enjoyed mine even though I only got to see one out of three daughters. We drove about 70 miles up to the cemetery where my mom is buried to pay her a visit. I wanted to tell her how much I miss her & thanks for all the times she babysat for our children. Now that I'm been doing some extended babysitting for my grandchildren I understand better just how exhausting it is! I wish I had thanked her more often for all the things she did for us when she was alive. Do you still have YOUR mum?

Dear Rolanda,
Thank you for your support while I have been ill. I never expected such a response from this site, everyone’s concern and caring has overwhelmed me. I can only say that it is the genuine people here who make this a very unique place to share our hopes, dreams, ups and downs. So thank you for being there.

Have the very best of m'dear.
I would usually bring bubbly but instead I have brought you a bottle of your favourite chenin blanc and I was up all night making you a special Choc Mud and personally picked you a bouquet of camellias from my garden for you to enjoy.
Hope you are feeling well enough to have a truly wongerful day.
