Hey Eve. yes my Avatar is a Frangipani (Plumeria)- from my Garden. I have several Frangipani plants in the Garden. Pink, White and Tropical..
They grow so easy here from cuttings, they are now coming into leaves and flowers.

Hey Eve, I just wanted to add (further to your comment on Ray Ray's page) that it is the adults who are surprised about the identity of a pedophile - not the children. My parents still have no idea that their long time neighbour and friend started making inappropriate comments and creepy looks and inappropriate groping (when I was older and actually married) from the time that I was about 13/14. It was nothing that didn't just gross us out and made us avoid him (most kids antennae are remarkably good). I say us as I found out that he had been doing it to my sister as well at his funeral!

All that aside - have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Eve! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving with your family! I am grateful for all the times my brothers and their families, my boys and their wives plus one grandson, my parents, and all the cousins my father has asked me to invite. It is a big turn out and even though I am glad that I can do this, the night before I go quietly insane with all the preparations!
Feel free to join me in insanity as we embrace our blessings!!!

Good morning, Eve!

Thanks for stopping by! I, too, wish you a very happy Thanksgiving. We all have much to be thankful for!

My husband and I will be with our "adopted" family - wonderful people we met through the tennis league I started here. There will be more than 30 people (four generations) at dinner today! And Jaime and I will be the only non-native Georgians present! I'd better start practicing my "y'all"s!

I hope you had just an enjoyable times as we did.

Next time your appliance that prepares food goes out, please do not hesitate, take mine. It is a big catch-all and I think my husband expects me to use it.

Oooooh, that song takes me back seven-eight years. That was the song I taught my second graders to sing for the winter holiday program. The words were and still are very significant! Somehow very fitting for our club, isn't it? We've celebrated the joys and commiserated over the sorrows of our members.
For you and me, Yea, Bruins!

Whoa, Eve, you are soooo knowledgeable! Wow, I barely can keep up with you on the sport. Had to reread but think I understand now. WOW! A chance, even a slim one, is still stuff of which dreams are made!

Hi Eve, sorry for responding so late but things really got hectic for last couple of months. Got so involved in settling my younger daughter that I was in virtual spin and picture was quite hazy. It seems to be getting clearer now and hopefully she will be settled soon.
The white buildings in the background of the Golden Temple are part and parcel of the Temple property and all around the water body (the sarovar).
will keep in touch from now onwards. bye and take care.

Loved the Ave Maria! Wished that Pavarotti did it with Bach's First Prelude. Look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgvJg7D6Qck&feature=related It has Bobby McFerrin doing Bach's first Prelude and the audience singing Ave Maria by Gounod.

HOHOHO! Hi Eve! I must admit it is hard to balance the egg nog, mulled cider, cookies and pie while trying to hang the ornament I brought on your tree. Ah! There we go! It's a little enamel blue crab from Maryland. Now I'll just have a seat and dig in! Yummy! I may be here awhile.....
