Hi, MizTricia1!

Thanks for the welcome -- and the tip about answering on the sender's page. I only did the general comments before, and then quit when you had to sign up to be a member (didn't even know what that entailed!). Anyway, thanks for letting me know ... is there a place to go to let you know how all this works, or is it just trial and error (with some helpful hints if you mess up)? -Cyn

Stopped by to see your photos. Great seeing your youth.
Glad that you at last have a diagnosis and it is treatable. I am surprised that they had not tested you for suger before with all the tests you have been having. Hope you are sleeping well tonight.

Oh, Miz Tricia, I just loved the Thanksgiving card! What a cheery message! We've already celebrated Thanksgiving north of the border, but it never hurts to get a reminder of all we have to be thankful for, and most especially for having terrific friends like you to make us ever sure of how wonderful this world of ours is. Bless you and yours at this time of year, and I hope you are keeping well.

Hello Tricia - I just looked at your pictures! That was fun! Your quilts are absolutely beautiful! The one with the hearts is my favorite. They all look like a lot of work! You live in a very beautiful state. The rock mountain is interesting. I could see all the layers in it. Is your Aussie Friend someone we know? Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi Tricia! It's very thoughtful of you to offer me an avatar for Christmas (All I want for Christmas is an a-va-tar....!) Unfortunately I'm quite a dunce about computer stuff, so have no idea what I would have to do to make it work .... if you can offer simple instructions, geared for, let's say, a complete idiot..., then I would say Thank You very much! I will send you my email address right away. Hope I can make it work - I wouldn't want to waste your Christmas graphic!

That was very sad news you had to relay today. I hadn't said anything on her page as it was not common knowledge.

I know exactly what you mean MizT. There are some pages I visited often because these people have hit a certain cord with me, and Rob is one of them.
Thank you again.

Hi MizTricia. Ok I fail at Avatars 101. Apparently the file is too big - is there a way to "smallen" it?

MizTricia, thanks for commenting on my photos - I had a lot of fun once I got the hang of it! The farm/chicken quilt is an amalgamation of several patterns by the "Chook Shed Pattern Co" - I do like bright colourful quilts! The floral quilt was copied from one I saw in a magazine. I haven't done much quilting since I started spending time on the computer... ;)

Hi MizTricia! Thanks for the nice comments about my quilts, though I have to admit that many of them aren't actually finished! The quilt you're asking about is actually a very simple design, just one block repeated. The pattern is called "Farmer's Daughter" from the Chookshed Pattern Co. (not sure if it's still available) The block is a star, with a simple nine-patch centre, and the various neutral fabrics form a secondary pattern when everything joins up. Cheerful, colourful and very easy!
The quilt next to it is the "Patience Puzzle" from the same company, and I altered it a bit for "Grandpa's Quilt".
Thanks for taking a look - it's lovely to get such positive comments! :)

Hi MizTricia - thank you for the report on Heidi. I have been thinking about her & wondering how she & all her animals were doing. She doesn't seem to post on Easy anymore? I regret that she was chastised by a few people about her comments there so maybe that's why she went away? I miss her & hearing about her animals. I had no idea SA 7 was such a busy place - holy cow, 338 pages! I had to search all the way back to Page 333 to find your report on Heidi. Maybe if you post any more updates on Easy you could tell us which Page on SA 7 you write on. Thank you for keeping those of us who don't frequent SA 7 informed. I will keep Heidi & all her animal family in my prayers.
