I noticed your comment today on the weather in UK - waddyer mean no sunshine, we had two weeks of perfect weather for our visit to England and Wales?
Mind you, we have lived in UK for three years and I know just how gloomy it can become. Perhaps we were just lucky?

Hello André, thanks for visiting my page. I was actually here this morning (my time) and watched your You Tube and intended leaving a message but got waylaid. My damn computer is over it's monthly download and everything is slow on it and I'll be buggered if I'll spend more to speed it up for just a few days till the end of the month.
I hope you and yours are keeping well.
My nephew leaves on Thursday for London. Goodness knows how he'll get on as he's only been away from home briefly once before. At least there is someone to meet him at Heathrow, so that's good. Going from somewhere like Albany and landing in London, he won't know what's hit him. He just turned 21 a fortnight ago.
Anyway, better go and enjoy a wine before tea.

Imagine my delight upon returning your visit and right at the top of your page was a yummy picture of probably my favourite actor. (Chocolat is my favourite movie). Andre, how dear of you to stop by with your kind wishes and words of comfort. During these dark and teary days, it helps immensely to know that so many are in my corner and thinking of my mom. Yes andré we have settled back into our normal routine again. I am now sifting through my photos to decide which ones are worthy of submitting to Sudoku.
I am interested that you are off to your favourite R&R spot again. You must love the place. I have never been, but my son spent six months there studying the language. Do enjoy yourself and please let me know when you return.

Thank you for the message for Laura. It is good to finally know what her eating and waking problems are all about. Now to sort out the medication etc and see her put on some weight.( She might even decide to like chocolate......we have a 2 year old who does not like chocolate????)

Yes, Andre, it's all about the memories now, and we've got some dandies. My mother was quite a woman, and she had some great stories, so amid the tears, we pull out one of her sayings or tales or mannerisms from our memory bank and have a bit of a giggle. Thanks for being in my corner during this challenging time. (And you'll appreciate that when a friend of mine--a nun--heard the news, she gave me a chocolate bar, saying "everybody needs chocolate!")
