Wilodene, love the fiddling! This is the first time I've checked your page...frankly, I was sure you were Native American...but with those blue eyes, maybe not. Your photos are wonderful..and recognizable even before the puzzle is complete. Thank you for sharing our beautiful West with all the folks in Australia!

Hello Wilodene - I just wrote this on the medium jigsaw and copied and pasted it here for you.
"Wilodene - there are a number of places in West. Oz with French names due to French explorers having places named after them or naming after their countrymen."
There are also a few with Dutch names because the Dutch explored the West Australian coast before the British did also.

Good evening Wilodene - Glad you enjoyed my pictures; I sure had a good time taking them.

Yep, 50 years this coming June 3. We have rented a beach house on the Isle of Pines (near Charleston SC) for two weeks in June/July. We've invited our brothers and sister and their spouses (and, of course, our daughters and their families) to come and cater to our every need for the two weeks. Should be fun.

BTW, you sure take some nice pictures too.

Thank you for sharing your nest photo in the rock formation on today's Sudoku. I loved watching and hearing your granddaughter play Jambalaya. I'll bet it was thrilling to play at Carnegie Hall. I hope you went to New York to watch her play.
