Hi Kim, Have fun with your page. It is easy to do and anyone here can help you.
About your nails, got to Sallys Beauty Supply, They have them in Florida. Get a Tropical Shine 3 way buffer. If you are not sure how to use they can help. Using it will make your nails shine just like clear nail polish, with out the mess.
Any questions feel free to ask on my page, I will try to help.

Hi Kim! Glad you're back with us in Sudokuland for the summer. And it will be a longer one this year, in our county at least. School doesn't start again until Aug. 20 this year. My daughter who is a third grade teacher is glad about that! Will you start later, too? Please stop by my page sometime & have a look at our new puppy Angie sent me that Smilie and also this one . I haven't had time to figure out how to make them myself yet. There's an awful lot to juggle on this site now, & yes, it DOES take a lot of time! I kind of liked it better when it was simpler.

Happy to see you! Brought some California wine and a box of Belgium chocolates! For my sons' wedding, I just got a manicure. Try the French manicure, it's natural look with just the tips painted white. It's suppose to be good for short to moderate length nails. Gives it the elegant look.

Hi Kim; Welcome to your new page! Here is some flan and crema catalana (similar to crème brule - but with brandy under the custard)
Hope you enjoy it!!!!

Long nails! - I know what you mean. Since I'm always at the computer I cannot keep mine long otherwise my letters would look like - 'E3q5 W84' as in 'Dear Sir.' In re; the colors, I agree with jano and Sharon. Go with the French manicure - have the pedicure too. Oh What the Heck! Get yourself a day at the spa; have yourself a massage , manicure and pedicure. You will feel like a million bucks.

Hi Kim! . I'm leaving a big pot of Maryland Cream of Crab soup on the table. Hope you and yor guests enjoy it
I'd just get the manicure, since your nails have grown long enough. They will even them out and you can pick a polish to match (or compliment) your outfit. I agree with getting the pedicure if you will be wearing sandals Drop by my place anytime for a snack and a chat, door's always open!

Kim, I'm dropping by to let you know I'm thinking of you. I can imagine the rush of memories and the sorrow you must be feeling--those 'anniversary' days, remembering special loved ones who've left us are difficult indeed. I'm hoping that somehow through my prayer for you that you'll feel your burden somehow lighter. Bless you at this time.

Oh Kim, I'm so sorry that these two days have such horrible memories. Share with me the wonderful few moments you had with your child. Let's celebrate that your baby did exist and that there was a bit of sunshine. I know you must have had lots of great times with your mother and that there are parts of her in you and in your children and she will live on through those parts.

I thank you all so much for your beautiful comments, they mean a lot to me.
I have not been back on the site for awhile now but I will be.
While at my nephew's wedding reception we got a call that my Mother in law passed away. (The nephew is her grandson). She has not been well but we thought she was doing better than my Father in law. Most of the family left as soon as the call came and we were with her when the Funeral home came to take her away. My Father in law has really been struggling with this and we are taking turns staying with him. The whole family is exhausted at this point. I guess June is not our month that is for sure.
The wedding was beautiful---for those who know St. Pete the wedding was at the Don Cesar outside and the reception was a dinner and dancing on the 5th floor, they had a balcony where you could look out over the Gulf, very nice. I feel bad for my nephew who has to remember that this happened on his wedding day.
Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers.
Love, Kim

Hi, Kim! I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your MIL. It must have been such a shock. I hope she didn't suffer too much. I hope your FIL is able to 'weather this storm' and not have too many setbacks. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your hubby and sons. You will always have your memories! Hang in there! Pop in when you have a minute and could use some light-hearted banter. Take care!

Kim, I am sorry to hear about your MIL, and to hear the news when there is supposed to be so much joy. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your husband, your FIL, and all the other family members. It is always hard to lose someone so close to you. It must be very hard on your FIL, but it is good that he has his caring family to help him (and to help each other)through the rough times. We lost my FIL a few years ago. He too was supposed to out live my MIL as she had rumatic fever as a child. It was hard for Mom, but things have gotten better with time. Remember, if you want someone to talk to or a little pick-me-up humor, there is always someone here to talk to.

Kim, so sorry to hear about your mil. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. I understand what your family is going through with your fil. My dad died after a short illness last July and he was the strong one taking care of my mom. We've been taking turns helping her since then. Hang in there and take care of yourself as well.

Hello Kim - I am very sorry to hear about your Mother-In-Law. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I went to a wedding in St. Petersburg about 19 years ago. It was a beautiful town with lots to see. Here is wishing your nephew a life full of blessings with his new bride!

Hi Kim. I was sorry to hear of the loss your family experienced. Especially difficult to deal with on such a happy day for you nephew. Life does go on though, and new life will come from your nephew's family. I do hope that you and your extended family remember a good life that was and a good new life that will be.

Hi
If anyone finds me here I guess I am hiding out.
My Father In Law died on September 4th and this year has just been a bit too much for me.
I peek in from time to time on this site and I am still on my tractor and teaching math. My boys are having a tough time with all of this too but we will be fine--just waiting for the rain to stop.

Hi, Kim! It's so nice to see you out and about today!
What a difficult summer you and your family have had! Remember, we're all here to support each other! Even when things seem pretty dark, we'd like to share our thought and prayers with you! Now that we know, they'll be rushing in your direction, hopefully buoying you and your family up.
We're glad you got your pool, and still have your tractor and horse. Maybe some of the normal everyday kinds of things will help you and your sons deal with all you have had to face.
Here are some chrysantemums and some fresh oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies for your family to enjoy!
