Kathy, I used to take training classes in Maryland for Hitachi Data Systems and learned to look forward to those trips, even with driving in your busy traffic with a rental car. I have a brother living there with his family now, so maybe I'll get back there some day. Thank you for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful baking weekend and birthday celebration with very creative grandchildren. Life is busy and happy, with the extra pleasure of sudoku puzzles and friends on the side. Thank you again for taking the time to send me birthday greetings.

Kathy, some of the art may still be there. Many are purchased by local businesses and I'm not sure when the 'take down' is. You are probably lucky that you are going to be there later.... the crowds are horrendous!

Hi Kathy, your cruise sounds interesting. I am sure you will have a wonderful time. I did find that I had received your messages but I had not been notified (I did check that I had ticked the notification box). Also there was no outgoing message recorded for me, just the subject. This seems to be since we got the new computer. I so miss Sharon as she would have sorted out the problem in no time (she had two degrees in computing).
I have not done todays puzzle but I guess the key is that they are all Frenchmen and speak their own language.

Kathy, thank you for the kind words. It means so much. Our Holmes was a special little boy who gave unselfishly. The house isn't the same without him.
