Whoa ... if you've spent time at Tamarack, you know exactly where our cabin is! We have one of the Forest Service cabins high on the ridge directly across Twin Lakes from Tamarack! We spend most of the time there from May - September. Our little piece of Heaven ...

I did reply to all by posting. But now i remember i didn't reply to you as yet. These days the internet line is very bad here. Sometimes i can open the website and read the postings you guys have put up but i cannot log in so i can't post to you all.
As for me i'm safe here but as you know the victims of the cyclone is so much so that we feel very sad for the people suffering there.
Many people are homeless. We tried to put up donations for the people there. I'm away from the site for quite a while. Thanks for all the sudoku friends who care for me.

Hi Jim, I couldn't follow your notation until I realised you seemed to have turned the puzzle 90 degrees anti-clockwise and then used the normal notation. My solution is on the comments page today. Regards, Alfred.

During the Democratic Primary here, Hilary Clinton won by a nearly 4 to 1 margin. The rationale stated by these rednecks is that they'd rather have a white woman than a black man in office. This was stated unashamedly in interviews in the newspaper!

are you helping out with the olympics? i totally got olympic fever when they were hosted here in salt lake city. it is such a neat thing to be a part of. let us (or me at least) know how your visit is there in bejing.

scientific research sounds almost as cool as the olympics! you sound very clever! i visited bejing about 12 years ago. i loved it! we found the best local people to interact with, or they found us. hope you you find time to play!
