Great youtube, Mamacita. Great time had by all in Melbourne and Wangaratta the last few days. Just tried to upload photos with no success - will have to wait until resident computer whiz (the teenager) gets home after school.

Hi, Mamacita! Hope you're having a wonderful day! It was fun sharing ideas a couple of days ago in the SA pages. I thought I would stop by and let you know that Harley has his own page now. Please stop by and visit him. I'm sure he would be happy to 'see' you. (I met him in the chat room yesterday with Linda & jeb.) By the way, I hope you will enjoy this big box of Frango Mints along with your guests.

Mamacita thanks for visiting, isn't it awful when a pet has to go? We are slowly getting over our loss, we still think it was so unfair. Why are so many dogs getting cancer? Our vet thinks it is the environment and the food additives. An elderly neighbour of a friend of mine recently lost her husband, she just gave up, not wanting to live without him, she was 85 and he was 90. One morning she found a puppy in her garden, no one claimed it. It is a cross between a Jack Russell and a Fox Terrier, feisty little chap. That was a year ago, they get on so well together, she has a new lease on life, more active than she has been in years. Her family will take the dog if she passes on, the way they are going it will be the dog first! Thanks again,

Hi, Mamacita! That's a great picture of the sunset!

I'm sorry. My mouse needed replacement batteries, so I couldn't respond to your question right away, Mamacita. Plus, I couldn't copy & paste any of the information. Here is the place to look

Thank you Mamacita for your kind words. The Rainbow Bridge has turned up several times over the last few years and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes. I find it very comforting to think that all the pain is over and I know all my pets will be waiting for me.

Hello Mamacita - Thank you for remembering me! I hope you have a safe and relaxing holiday, also. My children will all be home tomorrow. We have had several days like that since Spring. My neice is here visiting us from Chicago. We will have at least 10 of us if not more. It will be a busy, loud afternoon! But it will all end too soon.

Jacksonville is a small town (less than 3K). The BIG CITY in the area is Medford (60K) abt 5-10 miles away depending on where you are going in Medford. Ashland is about 20K and about 15 or so miles from Jacksonville 10 miles from Medford. Medford has an 'International Airport', may be smallest in the US with that classification - however it is growing. I said Medford is the BIG CITY in the area, if you are less than 75 miles from here in any direction - Medford is probably where you do your major shopping. Ashland is on I-5 about 15-20 miles north of the California Border & Medford is another 10 miles north on I-5. Ashland is known for its Shakesperian Festival(OSF), which was an outgrowth of the Chataqua movement of over a 100 years ago. Dave lives in the Applegate Valley, which is beyond Jacksonville. This area was part of the Applegate Trail which was an Oregon Trail Alternative. Shortley after Gold was discovered in Calif, Gold was discovered here and Jacksonville grew overnight to a tent city larger than today. All the Stage Coach routes came to Jacksonville. It became the county seat. It was later moved to Medford after the railroad came to Medford (Middle Ford). The entire area is called the Rogue Valley, because our creeks, and smaller rivers feed the Rogue River. The river with the snows is around Crater Lake and runs to the Sea, with good fishing, White Water Rafting and nice float areas. Accross the border in Calif. is the Klamath River with good white rafting and fishing. The various valleys are getting their own appelations, this is an up and comming Wine growing region. It use to be Apples and Pears.

In the late 50s early 60s Jacksonville was re-discovered with its building that go back to the 1880's and earlier. The entire town is listed on National Historic Register. It is a city unto itself. From Medford, Ashland or any other town, your entry is through Ag lands. The town is almost on a hill side, so the town is surrounded by woodlands or looking out over the valley below. At about the same time Britt Festivals started as a Summer Classical Series. It has grown over the years to have all types of muscical entertainment (we leaves the plays to Ashland). It still is an intimate setting with 2200 being a sell out. There are no where near that number of seats. Most people get lawn tickets, bring their blanket and picnic basket and yes their own Beer and Wine. This is the only 'Park' in the state where this allowed. We have to be vigilant about hard liquor and underage drinking or this priviledge will be gone. I have been volunteering at Britt for 10 years, even when I lived in Ashland I would work around 30 concerts. Now I'm a mile and half away from Britt. This town is unique with its setting and historic center. I believe it is the special jewell along with Crater Lake in the Crown of Southern Oregon.

I got to get going off to Britt, working Volunteer Booth tonight - start at 3.

Isn't the rock idea divine. Don't know if it's still going to happen, those mums have now left to become high school mums now!
Yes, I love my garden. My other obsession other than pooters! Will be putting more pics of the garden soon.

Hi, Mamacita. I confess to being 'me from here' on page 4 of today's Easy. When I read Ian's comment and realized it had just been posted, I felt a need to immediately question his attack on Susan/Ingham. I hadn't yet signed in, so just chose to put in 'me from here,' as it was fast. I totally agree with you and your assessment of the situation! Ian enjoys stirring. He would have found nothing wrong with the joke if he had posted it. It was definitely a situation of class/socioeconomic stereotyping, but not racial. I know what it feels like to be attacked by Ian, and I don't know if Susan/Ingham has a 'thick hide'.

Mama - Just browsing your photos, you do have a beautiful family. I can't believe I don't have your email address, oh well, instead of worrying about going into chat I can just give you mine and then if you would like to contact me you can. I think most of the people who would read your page have my address anyway, so here you go if you want me to send you a couple quarters.

address is

Mama, will also leave a note on your page but a fan forced oven has a fan in it to assist the hot air to circulate. I think it is possibly called fan-assisted? The temp setting in an oven with a fan is always lower than a conventional oven therefore 170 degrees Celcius for a fan assisted oven is about 350 degrees F, no fan 190C=375F

First year of the dollars, so far Washington and Adams have been issued. There will be four of these issued each year. Haven't found a book for them yet but hope there will be one soon.

Hi Mama!
My goodness, it looks like you are going to be up to your knees in Iowa quarters

I've been trying to catch you in the chat room or on SA2, with no luck
Yes, I will hang on to it.

Here's an e-mail address: KathyPalmer1@msn.com (just in case other arrangements fall through) I agree with Linda, I don't think anyone reading your page would pose a problem. I am such a trusting soul Not only that, I have more than one! LOL! If you send me your addy, it might be a good idea to put 'Mamacita' in the subject line. I have a tendency to delete the one's I don't recognize (not so trusting, after all!)
