Gday Anne, just passing, thought I'd pop in. I noticed that I've yet to bring my gday gift. Here you are, a plate of nibblies and a bottle of bubbly. Hopefully one day, we'll get to share one for real.

Thanks, Anne. I've actually been doing some more now. But I haven't done 25 yet, so that means I've got more to look forward to over the next few days!
I wish Gath would repeat them instead of some of the others! I didn't see any in jigsaws. Anyway, thanks again!

Hi Anne Thanks for the visit to my page. The lake is a water supply lake and is very clean and clear. It is limited to electric motors so it is very calm and quiet. I have seen deer, great blue herons, geese, ducks, eagles and sea gulls at the lake. It is very relaxing. That is a beautiful picture on your sight. Here are some crappie fillets for you to try.

Anne, I thought I would stop by your place and say Hi! Hope you're having a good day in Albany! We have an Albany by us, which is the capital of NY. My hubby works there and youngest son goes to school there. I wonder if your town is a sister city to ours? Have a great day and here are some flowers to brighten it! Stop by the SA2 page sometime. BTW, I love your pictures of Peru!

Anne, thank you for stopping by my page and for the flowers and wine. I'm glad you enjoyed my pics. I've been trying to take more lately. All of yours are wonderful! I'm leaving a bouquet of irises and a bottle of Messina Hof's Muscat Canelli, late harvest. It's a super sweet dessert wine that comes from right here in College Station! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend!

Hi Anne. I just read your post on C.Greg's page - glad to see another Elvis fan. I agree with everything you said and when his movies came out I was too much of a fan to care about his acting talent - just sat there and daydreamed

Hello again, Anne. I understand not going overboard on Elvis - a friend of mine has become transferred her addiction to the Elvis impersonators. She dragged me to a couple of the shows - mainly women in their 50's and 60's screaming & carrying on over mediocre singers in their 20's. I don't get it!! My favourite movie was Blue Hawaii, probably because of the songs - Can't Help Falling in Love still does it for me

Hi Anne, I was just doing last minute check before going to bed and spotted your message. I'm sorry you have a cold, they are such miserable illnesses and there is not much you can do about them. Mind you, I think bed would have been a good place to be over here because the weather has been quite cold.
You must be just about at the stage where you can look back on your house-painting and feel satisfied that you have done a good job. It is such a painstaking, fiddley chore while you are doing it, but so satisfying when it is finished.
Anyhow, I hope everything is well with you. Thanks again.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Try having honey and lemon juice or honey and apple cider vinegar in hot water. Sip on it when you feel like it. Very good for sore throats and colds in general.
I just put the whales there Glad you like them. I have been adding a few more photos to my flickr album.

How did you know! We were first introduced to Wignalls wines by my husband's business partner about ten years ago and for a long time, was unable to find the brand easily. Luckily, the largest liquor chain now carries a full range so next time I'm there, I shall purchase the late harvest and try it out 'for real'! Thanks heaps.

So glad you stopped by for a visit, Anne! And what a beautiful picture of Puy L'Eveque. We're just back from Utah, where I had the best horseback riding experience ever, up steep, rugged terrain--quite an adventure. Family here is fine (both feline and human). Mom continues to do well and I'm trying to manage with the heat and humidity. Hope all's well in your neck of Oz!

Thanks for the welcoming comments and for the beer. I have been doing the puzzles for a while and enjoy reading the comments to see how the sudukists are fairing. Finally plucked up the courage to open up my house. I am leaving a bottle of d'Arenberg 'The Footbolt Shiraz' with a little King Island Brie for you and your visitors. Gus

Hello, Anne!
Thank you for the welcome message on my page. I promise that I will do my page very soon, as soon as connection will get a little bit better. (For now it is a pain in the neck ).
Wignall's Late Harvest was delicious. And it's taste matched good with CG's chocolate pastry.
Thanks again, best regards, Vera

Thanks for your thoughts, Anne. The floods are on the other side of the mountains to where I am by the sea in South Gippsland. In any case, I am in Sydney at the moment. Still I wonder what is happening back home. Here's a hot drink to share for supper.

Hello Anne I glad the Youtube cheered you up the antibiotics should fix it, my Dr up north told me years ago that if the mucus from your nose is yellow-green you need the antibiotic as I'm allergic to codeine I can't take any cold & flu tablets. Some to brighten your day.

Yes, Anne, I was speaking of you. This 'cold' has sure hung on for quite a while longer than it should. Sorry that it got your sinus infected as well--hope the antibiotics kick in and take care of it for you. I'm going to take a minute and look at your pictures of France. I do hope you get well soon.

Thank you for your kind comments on my page. Yes, I was dressed for work in this pic, but now I am gloriously almost completely retired.
Love the French conservatory - are you in Europe often or was it a one off trip?

Hi Anne, thanks for your comment on Michael's photo. I will pass it on. He will be pleased. He took a number of photos of the bird, which was one of a pair we were hand-feeding on his balcony. But he was disatisfied because each of the photos showed the balcony. He was putting his camera away in his bedroom when he spotted this one in a tree just outside the bedroom. Snap, a bit of hard-cropping and - voila!
I hope your flu is better and you are recovering back to your sparkling self. Cheers and goodnight.
