I remember a Lockhorns comic where Leroy is standing in front of a refrigerator with a crowbar, straining to pry the door open.

Loretta is in the background saying something like: "If you don't like that many magnets on the door you could just tell me."

The implication is that the combined strength of the magnets on the face of the door is a force to be reckoned with, serving to make the refrigerator door hard to open.

I had that comic attached to the fridge with a magnet for years and years until it crumbled into dust. I feel your pain.

Vicki, thank you so much for celebrating my birthday with me last week, I had so much fun reading all the posts.
The family went out to dinner that night, then the next day we had yet another party for my youngest daughter's 16th. I then had the pleasure of a lunch on Sunday with some of our Sudoku family who spoiled me wonderfully.
It doesn't get much better than that!

For the wonderfully warm birthday greeting. It is so fabulous to have sudoku-family from all over the world share in my birthday.
