VICKI, thank you so much for dropping in to SA7 with the report of your phone call with Susan. We had been worried about her, and I do not always get to easy page to read every post there.

I am assuming they lost power when water got into their electrical system? And does the next cyclone have a nime so I can track it on my weather site? Need to keep up with such.

Thank you so much for your birthday wishes - I think I must have been away when you had yours recently - so happy belated birthday wishes. I lived in Leichhardt in the 70's & we were just out of the flood range , our house was on the top of a hill & it came up to about 5 houses away, my husband was in the RAAF & cleaning up friends houses afterwards was something I don't want to do again - I now live on a higher hill . Vicki I have just dropped by to say how horrified I was to hear about the dog attack. I hope that Reggie doesn't have have socialising problems after this... this can traumatise EVERYONE for yonks...

Thank you for your comment on the girl. If you have not been able to tell, she is our life. For the last 2 1/2 years we have lived in total amazement and shock. We have loved every moment of her life and look forward to see what fates have in store for her. Oh, even on the days I rethink parenthood, I would not change a thing. OK, if you know me, just a little bit, once I get on the girl I go on and on, so I will just say thank you again.

Hi Vicki - I've been away from the site for a few days and have just read on yesterday's page what happened to Reggie. How traumatic for him and you. I do hope you can track those irresponsible people down. How irresponsible of them and how typical that they didn't apologise or identify themselves. Hope Reggie (and the rest of you) are feeling better today.

Hi Vicki! Just happened to be thinking of you today. How are Reggie & your husband doing? Which one is the better patient? Hope they're both well on the mend. Did you have any luck tracking down those aggressive dogs (& irrepsonsible owners!)? Take care.

Glad to hear that Reggie is on the mend. My sister's cat was killed a few years ago by a new neighbour's dogs. The cat had been brought up with dogs so had no fear of them. So sad.

We fly to Sydney at 8am on the 7th and will be meeting a few of the Sydneyites. Return latish on the 9th. The 10th isn't completely booked out...contact me closer to the date. I will have some idea by then...
BTW...where are you staying while you are down?
I'm close to the city.

Discussed a farewell brunch/lunch with the girls... may possibly be an arvo do... will depend on how many things we still have to cram in or whether we will be in a collapsed heap by then sitting at home receiving visitors...

Victoria we live in one of the inner Eastern suburbs [Hawthorn]... about 5kms from the city. I have walked into the city in the past but not recently with my joint problems [arthritis]. It is a great area... central to everywhere unless you WANT to be in the city. Lots public transport if you don't want to drive. St Kilda is good and about 20' from us x car.
