Hi Vicki

12 o'clock is fine. Squirt has been invited; she'll wait and see what her social life is like before she commits. I hope the others can all make it :) Martha

Hi Vicki,
I will be there, not even going to mention bells, tiaras or feather boas this time. Looks like Cyn and I will pick up Madby3 on the way. Cyn was going to check with K.

Thank you Victoria for your visit. I enjoyed hearing about your SIL's(sister-in-law?) expeience in China. Yes, the pollution is out of control in Shanghai and Beijing but we were able to visit areas where the air is still relatively clean. Love your pictures of your dog.

Hi Victoria, and thanks for the welcome, am just catching up on what's what and where things happen - it's a totally different forum to what I'm used to and still trying to get the hang of it!

Yes, it would be terrific to try and catch up some time when you're down here. I am usually well and truly here on the Coast at that time of year as eldest is usually in full training mode, even training on Christmas Day if it isn't a Sunday. Ah the life of an athlete.

Looking forward to getting to know some of the folks around here.
Ciao,
Cathy

Thank you Victoria for making my birthday a special one.
Many sudoku friends from around the world coming to visit me and wishing me a Happy Birthday have overwhelmed me.
Peter and the boys took me out to dinner to a Chinese Restaurant, and on the Sunday, we had a delicious Roast Dinner at MIL’s.

Hi Vicki, just getting around to everyone who wished Col and I a Happy Anniversary last week. Thanks very much - we had a lovely 'short break' at Port M, an enjoyable mini-Sudoku-meeting with Elise and a nice dinner at a posh restaurant on the night. Back to the grindstone now, ughh! Cheers.

Hi Vicki! Love your photo. It's nice to think that I have stood in almost that same place! Seeing this pic makes me want to go back & search through our photos from Melbourne. It seems to me Rob took a pic of me somewhere near a red mailbox there - does that ring a bell? Guess the Schmaps people might be looking over lots of our Sudoku photos. They saw one of Rob's of Frankfurt, Germany on my flickr page & asked permission to include that one. Hope you are well & happy. How are Reggie & the other members of your family? Hugs from Florida.

Hi Victoria. I was at Captain Cook's Cottage somewhere between the ages of 6 & 9 1/2, because that's when we lived in Melbourne! That was between 1958 & 1951 which would have been before you were there. I copied your idea & put it on my page! If you want to check what it looks like on the page go to: http://www.schmap.com/app/shortlist.do
I wonder how many others on the site have been approached & have photos there!

Victoria - Thank you for your bithday greeting. The weather isn't cooperating - yesterday was 108°, today, my "medicare" birthday, is suppose to be 105°.

Mom called this morning to sing me Happy Birthday. Last year I was in So. Cal. with her for my Birthday.

Tonight, I will be working Britt & listening to Midori and the Britt Orchestra, and being Pop Corn Queen - a title I got several years ago. [Not a fun job when it is hot - sun on the back & heat from the kettle. But during classical allows time to mix with friends.] I've found the least amount of clothes I'm allowed to wear and still be presentable.

Hi Vicki, thanks for the message about my retirement. Even though sale went through 2 weeks ago, Col was contracted to stay with the new owner for 2 weeks so he finishes today. I have champagne ready for when he gets home. So looking forward to going to WA and will meet Rolanda and Mary in Perth (not sure if anyone else is going) and staying with Anne in Albany so it should be a hoot. Will try to let people know how we're going but not sure when and if I can get to a pooter. But, will take pics and post them when we get home.
Enjoy your holiday - nice to get a break from work. Hope all is well with you and yours. Cheers C x

Hello Victoria
Thanks for your welcoming message. Yes I am a Bressie girl, from the big CBD. I am not entirely familiar with all the wonderful surroundings but my last acquisition(GPS)will help a lot. Before I used to go somewhere...anywhere...not knowing exactly where...and had never been able to go back there...but those days are over. If I don't remember, the GPS does! Coming back home always been easy....followed ''TO CITY '' sign. Always made it in no time!

Thanks so much for the lovely welcome to Zeke, Vicki! Yes, he will get lots of hugs ... he's going to be living only three houses away from us! Our other three grandchildren are within twenty minutes, too, so we are very fortunate. It's great to hear from you!
