Place - Chez Laila on the boardwalk at Southbank
Bring your partner and/or kids if you want -all welcome.

Please RSVP by Thursday 28th February so I can confirm numbers with Chez Laila.

Chez Laila is near the Maritime Museum - entry via Ernest & Little Stanley Sts (parking is at the entry to the gardens). It is also close to South Bank (formerly known as Vulture St) Railway station. There is a ferry terminal close by.

Chez Laila is a lebanese restaurant which serves burgers, focacias, bagels, chips, salads along with the traditional lebanese food. They also have a cabinet devoted to delicious cakes/desserts. They serve coffees etc and are also licenced.

Hi Victoria.....Today (in the mail) I received my party pack for a linen party I am having. I had forgotten all about it. I went to one before Christmas and that's when I booked it. Unfortunately, the day I made it for is Saturday March 1st. I'm so sorry I cant make it to the gathering at Southbank . Hey??? How about you all come to my linen party????... lol....

Hi Vicki! I thought of you & Reggie (even if he's not a beagle!) last night when a cute little beagle named Uno won the Best in Show prize at the Westminster Dog Show in NYC. Did you see any coverage of that event in OZ? What's with the see-through dog in your Photo Gallery - is that a joke? Hope you & all your family are well.

Victoria, I haven't been on here for months and today I thought I'd pop in just for an update with the world wide Sudokuists and find that a gathering has been planned for we 'locals'. Fabulous plan..would love to be able to make it..so I will check the calendar and discuss it with the 'other half' and see what I can arrange. I promise to RSVP by the due date. LOL

Hi Vicki! Wish I had been more on the ball & sent a surprise package for your SA meeting on Mar. 1 like you did for our FL one back in Feb. 2007(?). Can't believe Mar. 1 is only two days away! How many are coming to Chez Laila? I'll have to let Jano from Lebanon know that you picked a Lebanese restaurant for your get together - she'll be pleased. Hope all is well with you & your family. went up to Coolangatta today with Squirt - she needed some jeans. Markwells's Cafe and Bar is supposed to be pretty good - their coffee's great. It is opposite Showcase on the Beach on Griffith St.
