Hi Gail,
yes it is the Cherry Gardens in South Oz. I have 8 acres with 1 horse, 2 sheep, 4 alpacas, 7 chooks, 4 dogs and 2 cats.
All this keeps me busy.

Thanks for dropping by the other day. Sorry it has taken a few days to return the visit.
We lived in Nicholson St and Hyde St Footscray (Yarraville end)back in '63 to '72 and then we moved to Madeline St Burwood (near Asburton) and now Glen Iris(they changed the boundaries)
We came back to Sydney in 1974.
Most time we go to Melbourne these days we tend to fly down for just a couple of days.
I would like to have a longer trip down, ie drive, so we can catch up with lots of friends etc but cannot see that happening before next year.
I am sure you will enjoy the get together next week. It would be great to meet the people that you chat with on line. I find I tend to look up where they live apop into peoples pages to see their photos and hope they have one of them selves so I can 'see' them when I read their posts.
You need a photo of a yellow crested white bird for your avatar
Keep having fun posting.

Gail, I cannot begin to thank you for taking time to visit my page with your kind words and best wishes for my mother's health. Your thoughtfulness contributed greatly to helping me through a long and worrisome day. Bless you for thinking of us.

Hi Gail--read my post on today's easy puzzle page ...
I'm no stranger to the bedside vigil--we almost lost Mom four years ago to a horrible bout of diverticulitis that resulted in near-kidney failure. She's recently had fluid on her lungs so that made her heart work harder which I'm sure brought on this angina attack. Hopefully all is cleared up; she's one stubborn, feisty 85-year-old, still in her own home which she keeps immaculate, including the garden. She won't go down without a fight, that's for sure. Thanks again for your concern--it means a lot!

Hi Gail, thought I'd drop by your page & say G'day. You know that I was here the other day, but it was the day I couldn't submit comments, & so it's taken a few days to get back. I am leaving a bottle of bubbly (good Oz stuff) & a box of Lindor balls (hope you don't mind if I eat the dark ones, they're my fav).

I did say they were Flo's scones. I do not generally make Pumkin scones. I did not want to try and explain Flo and her scones to all the OS's. I also understand you moving from Newport. When #2 started school at Hyde St Footscray there were 35 in the class and only 5 spoke English and they were all the U5's. We were in a company house at nominal rent but bought our own house at Burwood for the sake of the Kids.(back in '72)

Gail, since the graphics did not come through when put in mail, I can try something else. Ask yur hubby if he is OK with accepting attached files? Tell him my hubby runs all the virus protection to keep us bug free. We have to, cause we do business via computer and internet and would not do to send a customer a virus heheh.

If he is not comfortable with that, the other alternative is to let me send the graphics to Gath for approval, then put them here on your page. you would have to copy and re send for approval to get them to YOUR avatar list, but it is doable.

i will await your instructions, while sitting on my hands to keep from bugging you heheheh.

Hey Gail, thanx for your support. 99.9% of people on here are lovely. The .1% try to stir things up and create nastiness for their own amusement.I shall try to rise above it 'breathe in...breathe out...aahh that feels better!'

Thanks Gail regarding Mike. Today (Friday) after he had 5 hours of dialysis, he walked 20 very fast laps around the hallways on his floor at the hospital. He has an epidurial for pain management (small tube of medicine going into his back that anethisizes the nerve that would otherwise let him feel a lot more pain). He feels he should just 'grin-and-bear-it'.

Hi Gail, THanks for stopping by. I guess I'm just not very technologically gifted as far as figuring out how to post pictures. Mike, my hubby, came home from the hospital today. He now 'sports' a new 6 inch scar from the gall bladder surgery to go with his many other abdominal scars. I think that's his 7th or 8th abdominal surgery in less than 5 years. Anyway, it's nice to have him back home.

Hi Gail! Sane? I've never been sane! That's what keeps me young.

Seriously, Thank you. I am doing my darnest (new word) not to follow in her steps. Unfortunately all I can do is take good care of myself and exercise. The latest a bit difficult if I keep spending time sitting in front of the computer. Got to figure out how to place the keyboard on my treadmill.

Hi Gail, Back from my holiday in Port Douglas, Had a fantastic time except for the rain, it is supposed to be the dry season, you would have thought wet, as it poured for almost the whole week, we estimate that we saw 45 minutes of sun in a week, but still managed to have fun went for a massage and walks on the beach, and of course out for meals on the marina. catch you soon LIZ
