Hi Tami, Thanks for visiting. you must not usually post on EASY. I don't remember seeing your name there. That is where I usually go. I just went to medium today.

Tami, Your guess is the closest to what Daddy is guessing. He was born in December. We'll see what time brings.

Hi, Tami! Thanks for your post. I now have one vote for Heineken Light and one vote against, but since the negative vote was from Jeb who never even tried it, I guess I'll have to go with your husband's opinion! I'm actually not a big beer drinker, but I do enjoy an occasional 'cold one' on a really hot day. My beverage of choice is red wine (anything but Merlot!), but I also enjoy mojitos! In fact, I'm getting thirsty just talking about it, so I'm going to go get my husband to make us a batch of mojitos right now! Cheers! Jane

Orange juice from Florida--and fresh-squeezed, no less. YUMMMMMMMY! Oh how I envy you your lovely state--with warmth all year round. We freeze here in the winter, and I long for Florida sunshine. I've several friends who spend their winters there, but I have to stay here and work. Sad face...
Your Yorkie is soooo cute--and so are your boys. And how wonderful to give a home to a hurricane victim. As much as I love my Shepherds, I must admit that the 'purebred American Mutt' is still pretty special.
Thanks for the lovely welcome.

Thank you so much Tami! We had him cremated and will keep his ashes with us. The vet assistants made a cast of his paw and I got some of his hair. I am going to make a box to hold the ashes, a photo and his paw print.
I am also - actively - looking to rescue a young rottie. Training a new pup should help the healing process.
It is very strange, but several times I just know I'm going to turn around and see him in his favorite spot!
Again, thank you so much for listening!

Tami, I just read your post to Nal about carrying your dog while wearing your wedding dress and it made me laugh. I got married in 1983 and after carrying me across the threshold, I had to feed my cat who hadn't seen us for two days. So I can relate to your story.
Wedding dress, pet and in my case a can of cat food to really bring in the romance. LOL

Hey, Tami - I'm surprised you haven't tried a mojito yet. I had my first one when we lived in Richmond, VA. There was a Cuban restaurant that made great mojitos. Unfortunately, I haven't had a good one since we moved to Georgia. That's why my husband and I have been trying our hand at making them. We're still working on it! We either get too much lime or too much soda, but we'll get it eventually! I'm not much of a drinker any more, so who knows when we'll make them again. I used to have a glass of wine with every dinner, and now it's only about once a week or if we eat out. I must be getting old!!!

Pity you didn't get a photo of that. I would love to see the picture of you walking the dog and wearing your wedding dress. I went from having one cat when we got married to breeding Burmese. We gave that up years ago and now have only four cats left.

Gday Tami, sorry its taken me so long to visit but I'm glad I finally did. Great photos of your family and your adventures. I'm afraid we're the stay-at-home family so I only have pics of my garden up on my page but you're more than welcome to drop in anytime.
I've brought you a bottle of Aussie bubbly and a plate of nibblies for you and the tribe. Enjoy.

Hi Tami, I must apologize for not having been more prompt in welcoming you...but age will slow a person down even when they don't think they are slowing....however I'm here with a warm welcome none the less. As a gift I'm leaving a basket of goodies that Philly is famous for: Steak sandwiches, Twinkies, soft pretzels, Philadelphia cream cheese and to wash it down, Franks Orange soda. Please drop by my page and we can share our Florida connections. Great photos too. Peace.

Hi,Tami!
Thank you for explanation.
Because for a moment I'd feel that I got lost in the time.
Well, life isn't getting any easier for generations that coming.
Here, in Egypt also School year used to start somewhere in the end of September, and this year it starts on Sep, 9. But it is another explanation for this I think.
This year their main Holiday season Ramadan (that is moving around the year all the time) comes sometime in the mid September. So I think early School start has something to do with this event.
Anyway, my greetings to you with the beginning of the school year (Doesn't it feels like a Holiday first day?)
And here is some flowers for you.
Back in Russia we were always bringing flowers to our teachers on the first day of school.

Hi,Tami!
I didn't know that about the apples.
That is the thing I like about this site: while you enjoy yourself with doing puzzles, you learn a lot.
It is nice to hear that you have Russian roots too.
So, to follow tradition, I brought for you some apples too. (You saw them on my page)
Cheers, and wish you a wonderful and productive year.

Tami,
Yes, the Marlins did put our Cubbies in their place
Thank goodness the Brewers went down also - The Cubs really pull at our hearts here in Chicago - and it all starts up again next week - my father is 89 and keeps telling us "I cna't live though this again" When the Cubs were this close before - Dad said "I never live to see it" Well, the Cubs just keep coming back - so hang on Dad
.
I love your hiking picture - will the fall weather and the changing trees -- this is my time to be outdoors. Well, enjoy your time in the sun but in the end; CUBS WIN
take care and I'm sure my "fever" will break soon and I'll be back to my old quiet self. Mary

Tami,
I wore my green yesterday, but have nothing in gold. I guess I'll need to go T-shirt hunting for a good USF shirt. I'm 43 miles north of the Tampa airport so many people in this area are fans.

Tami, when you commented about my babysitting my grandchildren on today's comment section of the easy puzzle, I realized I hadn't met you, so thought I'd stop by. I loved your photos. It looks like you all had a fabulous vacation!
I know it seems like our daughter & son-in-law are leaving the kids for a long time, especially since they are so young. Fortunately we spend lots of time with them, so the kids are really comfortable with us. Still, it should be an interesting week!
My parents took care of my daughters for a week every summer when the kids were little. Those times remain favorite memories for the girls and I hope that we can create the same for our grandchildren!
It was so nice to visit and see your beautiful family. I hope you'll stop by my page soon.
Cheers!

Hey Tami - thanks for dropping in...the surf in that region(Margaret River) has hosted worldcup surfing events, I don't think I'll be learning to surf there! The coastline here in Perth is 'gentler' and only 10 mins away from me.
Thanks for sharing your family pics, your boys are handsome! Did Mitch ever check out Ningaloo Reef?
Take care and thanks for your post.

Hello Tami -
to you! I hope you have a great day!
I just realized I have never visited you. Are you on the East side of Florida or the West? My parents live in Cape Coral next to Fort Myers.
You have a great looking family.
Please stop and visit sometime.

Yes, Tami, Fort Worth, TX. Austin is a nice city, especially 6th Av. - lots of music going on there. Do you ever get to visit?
Fort Worth is a neat little city with lots to do - concerts, theater, ballet and - of course - the Stockyards.
What part of FL do you live in?
