Hi Greg. Thanks for the comments on the gorilla puzzle today. Martha now has graduate students working under her who do the scutwork, but it never bothered her. She can tell some interesting stories about her work, for sure. I'd love to visit while she's there, but I can't handle the altitude these days.

Hi Greg, my family are from Vancouver. They are not staying here for the full five weeks as they are visiting lots of different people. I have them for the weekend which will be wonderful and then I'm having a bit of big 'do' at my humble abode in a weeks time when they will be coming back before heading back to Vancouver.

We've always had a bit of a laugh on the other pages, especially when we are a bit mental! Food for the soul.

Hi Greg! Thank you so much for the rhyme! I love it! Thank you, also, for the birthday wishes. I appreciate it! My children will be here tomorrow to help me celebrate along with Angi/South Lyon, my oldest daughter, her birthday was Tuesday and Christina, my DIL whose birthday is on Monday!!! Christina won't be able to join us this year. She is busy with her art fair. If you have a chance to check out her glassware, I have it posted in my photo gallery. Thanks, again, for making me feel so special.

All in all some very talented people.

Wow - not easy getting to the end of your rainbow. Anyway, just wanted to say I loved your last joke (carved figures), and wasted no time sending it on to my brother - he needs material to entertain his card group!

Awesome choice CG!!! Sent chills down my back! Was very moved. I am saddened by the events that have happened but I will still cheer the athletes on because they're the gluing factors for our world. If the politicians want a war, we should provide a plain where they can do the fighting and leave the rest of us alone!

Thanks for the welcome CG. I read your comments with interest most days. Albino macropods are not that uncommon but don't have a very long life in the wild as they get badly sunburnt. We had a rufus wallaby (paddymelon) as a pet for many years. She lived in our suburban allotment and was great pals with our chihuahua. She was housetrained & came in at night, slept in front of the fire or on my daughter's bed.
My wife is preparing to go to Canada later this year to see a friend in Edmonton and then to the east coast to the Titanic memorial and Anne of Green Gables Centennary (I think). She hasn't bought the ticket yet so I wouldn't be surprised to see a little slippage in the time frame.
Best Wishes

Thank you for your bithday greeting - you devil. The weather isn't cooperating - yesterday was 108°, today, my "medicare" birthday, is suppose to be 105°.

Mom called this morning to sing me Happy Birthday. Last year I was in So. Cal. with her for my Birthday.

Tonight, I will be working Britt & listening to Midori and the Britt Orchestra, and being Pop Corn Queen - a title I got several years ago. [Not a fun job when it is hot - sun on the back & heat from the kettle. But during classical allows time to mix with friends.] I've found the least amount of clothes I'm allowed to wear and still be presentable.

Thanks again for the Birthday wishes.

Hi Greg. Thanks so much for stopping by my page with your good wishes. My mother-in-law is truly a remarkable woman who has seen much in her life -- she's pretty much gone from the horse and buggy days of her childhood in Texas to the space age. I do believe that having good thoughts and prayers sent her way will help her recovery - and hopefully help her to accept that a slight life-style change must be in her future! Again, thanks so much for your message!

Hi Greg - I did see your cereal post - and had a good giggle. Every time I come to your page your picture of the plar bears makes me tear up. Something I seem to be more prone to lately! My world is pretty ok, I have my ups and downs, and 4T seems to be having more downs than ups (17, girlfriend, last 18 months of school ....) Mr P is overworked and stressed out..... But seriously, I'm looking forward to our week in Honolulu from 6 - 13 Sept. It was nice to reminisce about our trip to Victoria on Easy today.
How's your world? Are you liking retirement? Was that your cat you were referring to today - if so, I'm sorry for your loss. Pets are as special as the people in our lives.

Hi Greg! I DID notice your pictorial cereal post & thought it was very clever. I'm sorry I didn't comment on it. Lately I have gone back to just lurking again & making comments only on people's personal pages. I just couldn't keep up anymore with all the birthday wishes, welcoming new members, compliments on jokes, etc. It seems rude to acknowledge some but not others. Hope you are well & enjoying your retirement. Take care.

Thanks Greg, for the birthday & operation wishes for my Dad. Looks like it might be put off again - wont know till I ring him tonight. The Cardiac Surgeon wants to talk with all his Doctors! All of his specialists are Sydney based, but he sees them in Dubbo & of course they're all there on different days at different times of the month, but they are all at St Vincents where he is now! I shall also give him your warning about skydiving, but once he sets his mind to something it's very hard to talk him out of it!!

Hi Greg, long time no hear! I did make one mistake in painting the steps. I locked the front door so that if someone came by they wouldn't just walk in like most of our friends do, and so now I can't get a fan at the bottom of the first set of steps to speed up the drying process. Oh well, I have one at the top, that should help. The only problem is that if I want to go downstairs I have to go out the backdoor and past my neighbors bachelor party going on, lots of young men in the back yard. They invited me over for a beer and a burger but didn't want to crash "the guys day" Well, off to clean some wine bottles. Take care buddy

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been to Sarnia a few times. Especially when I was a child and we would take the boat to Port Huron to go fishing, we would usually have a picnic in Canada before heading back home. Good times!

Oooh, oooh, I know CG, he went to the poorly cut barber. If there were only two barbers, then they would have to go to each other. So by going to the barber who gave the best cut rather than the recipient of the cut, he would ensure that he would get good service!
