Good morning Greg. I play every day, but never post or read posts. Thank you for thinking of me and inviting me to play this tag game. I do think its a little unfair, though, when i don't know who has been tagged and who hasn't. Did I read somewhere,(while looking for who has been tagged)that you are retired! Wow, that must be nice. I am jealous! But very happy for you!!
Thanks again and good to hear from you.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day starting with a cup of tea in bed, then breakfast and present opening, followed by lots of calls, texts and happy birthday singing before going off to my tap dancing class. Not bad for 62 eh!

I'm sorry that I don't visit the site more often, but I have kept in touch with a few and visit occasionally. "Bumped" into Billy by chance on day in the chatroom, we couldn't believe it - "Of all the people in all the world and you entered the room" - it was weird. We've been in contact by e-mail since.

We hope to get to Wangaratta for the jazz festival in late October/early November and will then get to meet Rosemary. However, we haven't got a definite accommodation booking yet, so we are just hoping.

Do hope things are going well for you.

Cheers

Gloria

maths not being one of my strongest points (I have many others which compensate this however) I will not even attempt the riddle as it would just depress me seeing how impossible it was! well, ok I'll have a look at it but I doubt my capacities in that area! thx for you kind wishes x

Interesting question, Greg. The answer is kind of round about, but here goes: my wife's cousin sent her the following video (which I think you would enjoy too) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3gp7B8WC4Q When I watched it, it reminded me so much of a musician friend of mine that I sent it on to him. He thoroughly enjoyed it and asked me to watch the ukulele weeps piece in return. What goes around comes around.

Thanks CG, for visiting. My girls complete my world and if you cannot tell, I am so very proud of them.
As for contraptions Girl 1 has been on, she loves riding tractors, you know those big combine machines. She has been mowing the yard (with Daddy) since before she was a month old. Her Daddy and her go on a nightly 4-wheeler ride and to my delight and near heart failure, she just had her first and solo roller coaster ride and loved it.
One of her uncles is a tractor collector and she has been known to go out with her tools to help him fix them. She knows how to start most of them, so she comes in handy. I am just waiting for her to put these machines in gear and take off on her own. It is just a matter of time.

CG--Just letting you know that I will keep Kelly in my thoughts.
When we were surrounded by wild fires a few years ago, I believe the smoke was the worst part, since fires were across a large creek and roads. It was still very apprehensive around here.
Hope she stays safe and your worrys are for nothing.

CG, tell your daughter to be on the safe side! Don't wait it out. When the officers say to go, GO! In the meantime pack a suitcase just in case and place in the car. Pack another suitcase with the photo albums, important papers, family memorabilia and place it in the trunk of the car. It's better to have to unpack it later than to risk losing it all. Best of luck to her!

Greg, having so recently experienced the Victorian bushfires indirectly, I feel for your daughter and the people of Kelowna. I am pleased the call to evacuate was implemented and went ahead successfully.
Please keep us informed as to the 'progress' of these fires.
My hope is that though there will be material losses, that is all there is.

Hi, Greg-- Thank you (very belatedly) for the birthday wishes. I had the most wonderful birthday this year! And, yes, Thomas was so excited he woke me up at 5am. He loved the presents, well at least the wrapping paper.
I'm glad to read that Kelly is still safe... will keep my fingers crossed.

Hello Greg, thanks for thinking of me. It is nice to see some familiar faces posting on the site again. I hope all is good with you and yours. Is Kelly still safe? I was watching the TV in Spain just in case of fire. Spain is on high alert all the time. I saw one fire as I was driving to my place, devastating to all concerned. Take care x

Well, ten points to your for just calling me "young lady!" Thanks, Greg, for the kind birthday wishes, and for taking time to visit. Finally a sunny day here, after much basement flooding in Hamilton. (We were spared, thank goodness). I won't complain about cooler temperatures, since I wilt and grumble in the heat. Anyway, I'll toast you and yours at my birthday dinner tomorrow night! Cheers!!

WOW! That was a jolt down Memory Lane, man. The Hair soundtrack was one of the first LP's (remember those) I ever bought. Even though I was born in the sixties, it was my music era completely, still is.
Thank you for having it up as your youtube.

Yes, Greg, you thought right. There's been a heap of wine tasting going on here. Took hubby to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a birthday picnic--the plan was to in-line skate along the parkway, have lunch and wine, then spend a quiet afternoon reading. A great idea, until the skies opened up and we got soaked. We did manage to finish our glasses of wine under a tree before running back to the car. So, what else to do but hit a few wineries?

CG, you dear sweet, kind hearted man, thank you for checking up on me. No you are not loosing your mind yet. Yes you have warmly greeted me and yes, you welcomed Morgan into this wonderful world.
Morgan is growing rapidly, in 7 weeks, she has gone from a mere 5 pound baby to an 8, almost 9 pounder. When hubby has nighttime baby duty our little toxic waste producer is up every two hours. Personally, I think Daddy is pinching her so he can have more time. When I have nighttime duty, the little angel sleeps 6 hours a stretch.
Kendall is preparing to start school in a few weeks. Some days I cannot bare to think my baby is going to go to school and then there are other days I seriously think about boarding school in Switzerland. BTW, I am going to need the world's loving comfort on the 24th, that is the first day of school.
The wee one is trying to break the sound barrier, must run. Thanks again for checking in on us.

Hi Greg
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Not so much of the young fellow. In another twelve months, if I squander all my superannuation, I'll be eligible for the old age pension.

Hi Greg, nice of you to visit. I don't seem to have as much time for the computer now that Bill is home all the time except on golf days. We have settled into our new home and are going to head west for a couple of weeks to see what to take or not take in the caravan and also do a quick visit to Robinvale to see our friends. Hope all is well with your family [is the fire danger settled now]
