Happy Birthday Greg! He's been on here as long as I have and that's saying something! He posts iffy jokes, defends Canada against the yanks single-handedly, and gives everyone beavertail pastries although only a very few have actually received one personally from him and know what they are! He answers almost all my puzzles and I think he deserves a biiig box of Havanas (& a new book of jokes) for his biiig day! Happy birthday you old thing!

Happy birthday Greg, hope you have a wonderful day. Even though you are handicapped with a splint at the moment I'm sure you will manage to enjoy your birthday.

I've just realised you share my first husband's birthday. He would have been 80 today so lots older than you.

Ah, CG, please note this is not a criticism but a helping suggestion. Next time you cut and paste, Sweetie, be sure to remove the Hi Sandra because the next person may be a George or a Bill or any other name but Sandra. ROFL!!!!

Ha-ha-ha, Greg! I, too, utilize "cut and paste" when I have to post on lots of peoples pages. I understand the sentiment is just as deeply felt. Hope your special day was great! Hugs

Howya Greg,

Missed your birthday, I have been very remiss. I hope all is very well with you!

Came across a website recently that made me think of you... lifescanuk.org - some sort of UK health site (I guess it's life-scan-UK - I didn't go there) but I couldn't help but think of Canuk Greg!

Getting back into Sudoku now through my 16-year old daughter, and the fact that my oldest kid now has a laptop, and youngest has X-box, so more computer time for me. Yay!

Greg not 50. I will never be 50. Maybe I will get to 49, but I really think that is some ways off. Jack Benny is still 39 and I really I'm younger.

G'day Greg. You're always the first person to make a comment on someone's birthday and even though I rarely appear on these pages now, you haven't ignored mine. This is just so nice of you. I am struggling along but not very well and have a rather major operation on my lungs coming up. Scared?? Me?? Naaahhh! It will all be good.

Oh, my darling Canuk Greg, your thoughts and prayers are very soothing for me at this time. I am an emotional basket case at the moment, but we are going to be fine. I was blessed for 7 weeks with Thing III and I will cherish the feeling of happiness that baby brought me. That is my memory of my baby, not this weekend.
Thank you again, my dear friend.

The link you posted with the 92yo woman in Hawaii running a marathon is awesome Greg! The local Canberra marathon is this Sunday but I've been sidelined by an injury for over a year so won't be running - I will be marshalling though so can still soak up the atmosphere.

Thank you CG, for your kind wishes. I am still around most week days on the site, but seem to always follow you. I did have a wonderful day made even more special by the thoughts of my Sudoku friends, and a phone call from my daughter in London. Ta again, Bluey

Greg, when my mob of 4 kids, their partners, hubby and I get together, there is no other way to celebrate but with style. :)
We've had a fabulous two-day celebration for my and Hannah's birthday, the family has gone out of it's way to make it very special for us both.

Thanks very much for your birthday wishes. I had a lovely time with the family, even if belated with a delicious dinner tonight that I didn't have to cook. I will be too tired for a party next year as my daughter is getting married on the 14th of April next year so I have enjoyed the peace this year.

Best wishes for the 'Wisdom Teeth' removals!!

My #2 boy had all 4 wisdom teeth removed July last year, he recovered really well, with very little pain.

Shhhh. Don't tell the Captain. I am sending Nurse Sharon Sharalike to help with your post extraction care.
I suppose I could send flowers, but I think Sharon's attention will make your recovery a bit more pleasant.

So happy you are back home, hopefully the discomfort won't last long. Been hanging out with doctors lately, they like that discomfort word. One of these days, I am going to show them discomfort.
At least your fingers work, though you are probably trying your best not to move. If you can, this is what I would do, I am no longer able to do this, but take two, maybe three of their feel good pills, the ice packs and go to bed and not move until tomorrow. Then do it again on the 3rd day. Take care my friend.
