Thanks for your warm welcome to the site!! what a popular person you are!! and reading some of the comments made by/about you i can see why!! Canada is at the top of my wish list for overseas travel, hubby and I are keen rail travellers and certainly want to do the Rocky Mountaineer trip. Sorry if my spelling is a bit off but its 3.35am here at work and things have finally quitened down long enough for me to do my sudoku and catch up on all the comments of the day. Thanks again Greg

Hi Greg and thank you for the wishes regarding my knee op.
I had it done on June 13th, home June 17th.
Today it is two weeks since it was done and I got the staples out yesterday.
Going along okay but have to say the most excruciating op I have ever had.
The extent of the bruising and the swollen leg is incredible but they tell me it is par for the course.
Onwards and upwards. Thanks again for the good wishes.

Thanks for the question yesterday, Greg! You're finally getting an answer - they ( the old windows) were for whoever wanted them! They were taken by a few different river people (i.e. not odd or strange different, people from separate houses around the river!!!). The word goes around that there's stuff on offer.... They've gone to people who needed them & we didn't have to cart them away in the boat....

Hey Greg, it would take more than that to upset me. I thought your comment was a fair call, and not something I had even thought about. To me those chimney pots and buildings were fantastic, because on our little island there is nothing like them. (We don't have a single sky scraper in our whole state!) I like good discussion, and its important to say what you think. There are too many 'yes' people in the world. Good on you!

Hey there, Canuk! You must have wondered where the heck I was. Hubby and I did our celebrating in style, on board the Royal Clipper. I was so touched to get your kind message. Our birthdays and anniversary were terrific, made that much more special by your thoughtfulness. You're quite a guy!

Thank you for the Birthday greetings & well wishes. Friday should be able to go home. Then the 'fun' begins - trying to find some place to move - not being able to live over 10#s.

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. Mrs S and I have been away for a fortnight in the sun on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We try and do that each year to get a break from the Tasmanian winter which actually hasn’t been too bad this year.
The weather was wonderful with no rain and maximums of about 25C (78F) each day. We also visited friends and generally had a great time.
Sorry, I did not respond earlier but I did not get any alerts that I had received messages but I really appreciate your message.

Hi Greg. Time gets away from me and I don't come here. We've cut Elijah's hair before but this summer was the shortest. He kept turning his head to look and she would have to cut more to even it out. Salome will be 9 mos on the 18th. Not quite a Christmas baby.
