Becky thank you for your well wishes for Thanksgiving. They came true. It was a wonderful day, with an exception of one incident. Girlie-girl went missing for a few minutes, poor thing is the shortest out of 13 people. Nothing major she just went into the bathroom to have a TP party. Her favorite past time.

Thanks for the good wishes. Hope your holiday has been good. Ours was very pleasant, with a four day visit with our daughters, their hubbies (one future), and our grandson. Christmas is on the close horizon, and it feels like it this morning (27F at 8:00 AM).

Hey, Becky - thanks for the note about PowerPoint. I know that I can download a PowerPoint player (reader) without subscribing, but until the expiration date of my MS Office "free trial", I don't want to mess with it. I can't stand "craplets" and have uninstalled most that came with my computer, but I read somewhere that the MS Office craplet does not uninstall completely, and I don't want to mess anything up. Regarding the scanner, I have an old HP r40 all-in-one that works just fine except for the scanner. I can scan into projects but cannot scan a picture into "my pictures". Haven't had time to figure this one out yet. One of these days.................

Anyway, thanks a million for your input. I may get back to you with questions later.

I crochet snowflakes too, but also bells, wreaths, trees, angels, and hearts. I did the dove once, but don't like it much. All two-dimensional in bedspread weight cotton... it keeps me busy when I can't do much else!
