That's wonderful, Rola!!! I'm glad to hear that your mum's doing fine! Now, you go do something for yourself like a brisk walk, leisurely read or window shop, something to put yourself in rights!!! Caregivers give of themselves to the point of ill health for themselves. So be good - cuz I'm coming in 2012 or 2013 to visit!!! And I'll be able to see whether you've taken care of yourself!

Hi Rolanda, good news, my son-in-sin the IT expert has saved my 'baby'. He's bringing it down today....what a lovely lad.
The respite people rang last night, the fridge/freezer in Carine has gone on the blink...lost everything by late Sat arvo. Hope it's fixed by tonight....

It was awfully hard to go....the young chap's lower lip trembled and a tear ran down his little cheek and he whispered...'but I don't want you to go'....heartbreaking....

However I might have to pass this time as its been over a year since i've been home and I think I'll be very busy the whole week catching up with family and friends. Bibra Lake is quite a distance away. Where abouts in Perth are you? I'll be staying with my Mum out Mundaring way.
