Andre,(sorry, can't get the e to work on this laptop) for my birthday wishes! It is incredible to get wishes from around the world. You really made my day(weekend) very special! Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Busy time of year with all of the schools ending and picking up the kids. Hope you have a great day!

Beautiful picture! Gorgeous view! Is that where you were on vacation?

I have been very naughty tonight...assignments were due tomorrow (exam on the 6th June TG)but i managed to scrounge an extension until Monday...was going to write one tonight but got offered a ticket to a show called "Spicks and Specks"- it's a pretty popular tv show here...and of course i did the only thing any responsible would do...I blew off study and had some 'fun' time...so if you'd like to write a critical analysis on Fahrenheit 9/11 referencing all the lectures etc, please don't hold back...ANYTHING will do...xxx

Hello André - I thought I'd leave me message on your page rather than the kid's pages in case you don't go back on there.
Johnathan was four in March but he's a big boy and (too) well spoken for his age so you forget he's only a little kid. He is also very mischievous at times and adorable at others.
Cheers

Well hello yourself.

Aren't you smart and thank god your there otherwise there would be messages floating in cyber space feeling lost and rejected.
Yes it was fun back then and yes I did give you the Lady Sudoku as a present but it got so trashed with the wild parties that I had to do a complete refit before I was happy to let it go. That and a couple of private charters, which thankfully never made the media.
Having said all that I now present you with the keys to the Lady Sudoku. Whatch out for the big red bow and the case of Bolly attached.
I didn't think you would swear but as you brought it up I am setteling in at work which is go ok with plenty happening to make the week go by a bit quicker, but the week off is great. Speaking of which, I fly out next Wednesday and will spend 5 days at a marina apartment just relaxing with reading, fishing, eating, sleeping and of course drinking anything I can get my hands on, especially the red wine and whiskey. Yes life is tough.
If I survive I will let you know what the fish catch and bottle count is when I get back.

Cheers (just practicing)

Glad to hear that your trip and the festival was all that you could have wanted and more....it sounds wonderful...I have one in late August that I'm looking forward to, but its not in a beautiful place like St Lucia....however the music is great always!

for the birthday greetings! I was totally overwhelmed by all of the greetings I received from my sudoku "family"! Wow! It surely made my "biggie" birthday easier to take!

Your St. Lucia photos made me feel very nostalgic. We were there two years ago on a cruise & it was my favorite island of them all. My son & daughter-in-law honeymooned there at a resort.

for the birthday wishes - it was a good day. Things are much too busy - I don't get enough time for the sudoku page. I usually manage to do the puzzle but rarely manage to read the posts - too many come in while I'm at work & I can't access the page from there. No diving since Christmas - that will start in July (if I can shrink myself enough to fit into the wetsuit)

Things look OK so far. I find no critter tracks in the thin layer of dust on the front or back porch or in the butter dish in the fridge. No additional rings in the tub have been left and the hair I stuck across the wine fridge door is still there. If this trend continues, things should be a booring letdown after your fun holiday. I'll check back in a couple of days.

The shay and of course the Morgan stayed in the barn for want of courage in joining the tumult of a passing thunder storm. Ergo, we are late in arriving for a thorough inspection of the premises and will do our best with the meager candle at hand.

A flash of residual lightning and a resounding rumble of distant thunder drew my eye upward to a gabled window on the second floor in which I thought I detected the movement of a curtain. That and the restlessness of the horse has put me ill at ease. Perhaps I shall return on the morrow whence things may seem a bit less gothic.

I made the right decision. As I have always believed, chinks of any stripe are to be avoided at all cost on dark and stormy nights.

From the looks of your page, you saw some neat stuff. Glad you had a good time.

Hi André, I'm following my sister around saying thanks for her birthday wishes as well, because if she hadn't told me about this place I wouldn't be here; so this is me saying thanks to her as well. Because without her I would not have known about any one of you! I love your new photos of the Loire.

andré, nice Youtube. I'm still "away from home," so, my stash has remained undiminished for the last 17 days. We're in Columbus, Ohio, the site of the infamous topless shot which you'll get to see after I get back home ... later today. I've just gotten a laptop, so have been able to connect and do the puzzles and post from time to time along the way.

Hello André - a very big from Amanda, Wayne, Johnathan and myself for your very good wishes on the birth of their son and my grandson, Bailey.
I gave him lots of hugs from you on Saturday when I babysat him and Johnathan for the afternoon. I also took them for a big long walk and wore Johnathan out.

An old shipmate sent me a rather large list of something someone sent him. There are lots of good thoughts for the day that I am sure he would love to see passed around. Have at it. They all begin with 'I believe' but you can re do them the fit your own idiom (love that word. Reminiscent of ...Search for the Holy Grail.).

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born
A Death Certificate shows that we die
Pictures show that we lived!
Have a seat . . . Relax . . . And read this slowly.
I Believe...
That just because two people argue,
it doesn't mean they don't love each other.
And just because they don't argue,
it doesn't mean they do love each other.

I Believe...
That we don't have to change friends if
we understand that friends change.

I Believe...
That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt
you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I Believe...
That true friendship continues to grow, even over
the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I Believe...
That you can do something in an instant
that will give you heartache for life.

I Believe...
That it's taking me a long time
to become the per son I want to be.

I Believe...
That you should always leave loved ones with
loving words. It may be the last time you see them.< /B>

I Believe...
That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I Believe...
That we are responsible for what
we do, no matter how we feel.

I Believe...
That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I Believe...
That heroes are the people who do what has to be done
when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe ...
That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I Believe...
That my best friend and I, can do anything,

or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe...
That sometimes the people you expect to kick you
when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe...
That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I Believe...
That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had
and what you've learned from them and less to do
with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I Believe...
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I Believe...
That no matter how bad your heart is broken

the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I Believe...
That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,
but, we are responsible for who we become.

I Believe...
That you shouldn't be so eager to find
out a secret. It could change your life Forever.

I Believe...
Two people can look at the exact same
thing and see something totally different.

I Believe...
That your life can be changed in a matter of
hours by people who don't even know you.

I Believe...
That even wh

Hi André. I just spent a few minutes looking at all your photos from the Loire Valley. I didn't leave any comments, but I think they are all wonderful. I hope you submit some for others on the site (who don't visit pages) to see. I envy you in the location you live, as so much history, culture and fun is much easier to get to as opposed to we rebellious Canadians who are stuck here on a fairly young continent. Hope all continues to go well for you. Hanging in here. Cheers!

Dragon slaying has been de rigueur these past several days. And, as a matter of fact the edge of the world has been examined from a mere distance. There is still a worm or two that have not felt the sharper edge as yet but they are being met with as stoic a mannar as possible. In short, they are being 'seen to'.
