Our son and his family came up from TN before their move to TX.(this is son with grandgirl) seems like they are trying to keep up with us in the number of moves. lol. they will pass us now, since we hope to stay where we are now. it's great having the grandboys close. i can get my daily grandboys "fix"

Thank you Angie - he has been offered Forensics and Criminology at Griffith Uni in Brisbane and I'm pretty sure he will defer and statrt the course in 2009. He wants to work for a year and have some fun. Can't imagine why.

Ghastly situation - definitely not a win win situation. It's great for you to be able to vent here - does your poor hubby have somewhere he can vent or are you it! Nice place you have here. I could do with the spa. But my reason for visiting is because of your news about your husband. That does not sound like the company is acting legally. Have you contacted Wage Line? or a Union if there is one that covers the situation?

The lightning was on the night of 21/22 December at 12:30. the ceiling in our room when blue and the bang was sooooooo loud. Apart from my computer stuff (PCs, network switch..etc.) the only other damage was the hot water and surround sound system. So we where very lucky in that respect, just have to wait for the insurance to come through.

No one was hurt, that's the main thing so all is good in the vdV household.

I just want to thank you SO MUCH for the Paint tutorial! I did not have Paint on my old computer (it was a business model) so was not familiar with it. It took awhile for me to find it in my new computer, but it was well worth the hunt! It's amazing how much there is to learn about computers. And the folks on this site are so helpful!
