Hello Nola - Thank you for stopping by and for thinking of me! "Hug!" I appreciate it very much. I am doing okay. We have been very busy sorting through Jeremiah's belongings and dividing them up between siblings and friends. Little things can bring on the tears. (Like souvenirs he has saved for years!)

I really enjoyed looking at your pictures. The twins are so cute! How old are they now?

Hi Nola, Thanks for stopping by and enjoy my gallery. Jazee, the one laying down is a 4 pound (1.8Km) Maltese and Sophie, is a full Shi-Tzu, about 7 pounds and 6 years old. Your little one looks a lot like a Maltese?? Great picture of Maddylain and Kailah. What a couple of cuties.

Nola, Bella and I are thinking of you at this sad time.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

It is heartbreaking to put a pet to sleep but I am always comforted knowing that I am doing the kindest thing for them.

Nola, I never got around to popping in to thank you for my birthday wishes oh so long ago! Many apologies for the tardiness, but it has been a madhouse around here in what feels like forever!
I had a lovely day which started quietly but was made very special for me by my family, in fact, I got spoiled rotten!

I am so very sorry you lost your little friend,

NOLA, I have not made pillow cases yet, but I will do something for cordinating cases. I have some of the medium, almost solid fabric, and I have muslin. Not much of the other 2 fabrics, but I am hoping enough to make a much larger applique flower like on the border I have not photographed yet.

LOVE your orchid photos! They are one of my favorite flowers to paint. I've painted eight orchid paintings in watercolours. Such interesting flowers!

went for a bike ride with my son - got caught in a rain storm and exhausted from a 90 minute ride when I am use to a 20 min ride twice a day, but it was great and it's a good exhausted feeling - so just relaxing before I get my 3rd or 4th wind - enjoy your special day, Mary
