Hi Nola, I just read your tags and noticed you celebrated 35 years of marriage, I do hope that you are still celebrating and that you keep celebrating the rest of your lives, my hubbie and I celebrated 20 years last year, which means that we have been together (including the time we dated) longer than we've been apart on this Earth of ours, funny how you wake up and think where did that time go, now I'm just trying to make each day count as much as possible, hope you are busy doing the same.

Hi Nola! Thanks for stopping by my page. I also remember you from before. Yes, I moved from Washington to Jacksonville, FL (a 3800 mile drive) last Dec. We left WA. when it was 27 degrees and arrived here where it was 80 degrees. We love it here.

I just noticed that you recently celebrated your 35th anniversary, Congrats! My hubby, Mike, and I celebrated our 26th on May 21st. How old are your twin girls now? My youngest daughter, SaraLyn, is going to make us grandparents for the first time. I see you are an animal lover, too, we have 2 dogs and are dog sitting our older daughter's dog while she and her husband are out to sea (Navy officers). This is getting long and I still have other messages to respond to. Please visit my page again when you get a chance.

The look of curiosity on the two girls in the photo (with you and your husband?) is just the cutest ever. Do you grow orchids yourself? I have tried - not so successfully! - with oncidium(?) and phalaenopsis.

Nola, it is knitted using Aran wool. I have never seen 8 ply wool in the uk that must be very chunky wool to knit.

Hello Nola, Thank you for the welcome. I did check out the recipe area. Didn't find any. Perhaps I don't know how to get to them.. will try again. It really is interesting to see the names from so many places around the world. I do believe I will enjoy this site. I spend too much time doing Sudoku so perhaps this will help break that habit.
