I looked out of my window this morning to see lots of roses in bloom on my front fence so thought I would bring you a vase full. Your Iris are really lovely and have cheered up a dull spot in my room. The photo of the orchid is stunning,do you grow these yourself?

Hi Sue, Thanks so much for the beautiful flowers, I just love all kinds of flowers, so these were especially welcome. There isn't much in bloom in Connecticut right now, cherry and apple blossoms are gone as are the forsythia and magnolia, as soon as my Azalias are in bloom I will visit you again and leave you some. Have a great weekend.

Sue, great picture of the butterfly!! Love the song 'Sherry' too! I hope your weather is better than it is here. Not alot of flowers yet nor butterflies around here. I think it is too chilly still! Although, I just saw a bunny in my backyard. Have a great day!

Hi Sue, very nice butterfly!
Thanks for dropping by my page. My Miata is a 91, as well but I've only had it for 3 yrs. It has over 191,000 km on it! So far the top's been down twice this season. The weather is terrible this year - it just hasn't been warm. Maybe by July... but when the top is down - heaven!
Hubby & I belong to a Miata group based in Halifax (no, you're right, that isn't very close) and went on a couple of trips with them last year. I'll post some pictures at Flickr.
zoom - zoom!

HI Sue, Thanks for the visit...its been awhile. I have started to go around the globe, but have been concentrating on the newest page owners to visit. Its a time task that will consume many days. I've been very involved in so many task, and with the poor weather, flowers have not been a priority. I have finally planted my space, but haven't traveled the distance to the orchid farm as of yet. The orchids that I see around here just seem so very fragile, that I'm afraid to take one on. Thanks for 'Sherrie..it brought back memories. Hope you had a chance to listen in to my you tube, particularly if you aren't a jazz fan. I'd love to hear your reaction Come visit again and I'll do the same. Peace!

Oh, I forgot ... I enjoyed your Youtube of the Four Seasons. Recently we saw the stage play Jersey Boys in San Francisco. Great show. If you haven't seen it, and ever get the chance, don't turn it down.

Mickey, We are suppose to be home bodies family oriented and all that kind of stuff. Guess I was when I was younger did needle point and crocheted. Only half the things seem to apply any more. Still protect my family but would rather travel than be home, that might just be my age talking, sure I am older than you.

BTW mine is the 17th.

Mine is July 1st. And I am a craft nut too - when I get time. Definitely not the world's best housekeeper, but I love to return home after being away fromit for extended periods. And yes, fiercely protective of the family. But inclined to retreat in to my shell on occasion.

Thank you Sue, for my beautiful welcome bouquet. I love the way you've fixed up your place - The Four Seasons add such ambience! I saw Frankie Valli perform 2 or 3 years ago - he can still sing in falsetto (altho he says hitting the really high notes is no longer a sure thing). Please come visit me when I get fixed up.

Sue! Gosh, I'm almost too late for your special day - just got in under the wire! Thank goodness Rosemary's comment reminded me. I've been obsessed all week with the new puppy. Hope you had a nice day & didn't have too much pain from your knee. I looked through all your photos again. You've been busy on Flickr I see!! Lots of great places & great pictures. Did you delete some of your old ones?

Hola Senorita, I have not been to Spain but nearly six years ago I travelled to England and did an Ireland tour which also took us through Wales, then back to England and Scotland. I then did a 20 day European tour of the major countries. I've also spent a few weeks in Norway with English friends and also a couple of weeks in south/west France with the same friends. Two years ago before my holiday in France I spent 3 weeks in New Zealand and this time last year I was in Peru and South America.
I'm not sure where or when my next big overseas holiday will be but hopefully next year I'll be off somewhere again.

Thank you for writing your note. I was very touched and wondered with admiration how you were able to be that strong for those scary months. Your husband is still alive and that gives me hopes that my son will be there in 30 years too.

Hi, Sue! Thank you for the cake and visit to my page. I'm afraid I'm not very good about keeping up with correspondence. Too much going on around here - right now I have my niece and her boy friend from Washington D.C. visiting. Could you please tell me the name of your favorite restaurant in St. Augustine. The courtyard looks very inviting, and I'll be heading down that way soon.

Thanks - and have a wonderful day! Jane
