Thanks Sheila for your birthday wishes for my MIL and uncle. Last uncle to go over 50, actually I thinks is 55. He has always had a hard time aging, so I am not going to talk to him till much later.
MIL, was alright turning 69, until SIL made her a Steeler shirt and put MIL's age on back and then announced they were going to town and had to wear her shirt. It was not a jacket day.
Thanks again.

Shiela, Thanks for your kind thoughts. Toby passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is probably chasing Tuxedo in heaven. They are probably sharing a treat.

Hi Shiela. Sorry to read you're not feeling well. Hope you haven't got what I had. I started with symptoms similar to yours, then my whole head got clogged up with mucous. STIll haven't completely gotten rid of it. I have to be better next week when we go to babysit the 4 grandies in Orlando! By the way, I meant to drop by before this to tell you I thought it was great that you & Nancy went to Scott's funeral. I know that meant a lot to Debby. She is such a dear, & I hate it that she has had to endure so much heartache. You tske care & get well soon.

Hi - I'm back. Hope you are feeling better with the baby shower only 2 days away. Our week here with the grandies is going well, but I'm glad I am almost done with getting up at 5:30, packing lunches, fixing meals & doing laundry for 6, & all the other mom-type daily chores. It is definitely much easier being a grandma than being a mom!

Not going (guess I should say 'Didn't go') to Barbados. But it's on the bucket list. We did go to St Maarten, St Thomas and Disney's Castaway Cay. It was a fun trip, but I did use muscles that I haven't used for a while and they are still letting me know I shouldn't have done that.
Best part was being with younger daughter, SIL, and two of the grands.

Hi Shiela. I just wanted to stop in and thank you for the birthday wishes you sent my way. Yours and everyone else's from the site made my day extra special. Cheers, and stay smiling! Just to let you know that everyone will get the same message as it easier to copy and paste with the finger problems I have. Take care!

Sheila darling, thanks for thinking of us. As I have stressed all day, we are fine. Sure I am an emotional basket case at the moment, but I shall be back to my normal annoying self in no time.

I will look up French Perfume and see if it has another name. Even the rose 'Peace' has another name here. It is called Madame Meilland, which is, in fact, its original name. She was the wife of the man who first grew the rose.

Hello Shiela - thanks for your comments about the "pink" bunny. The grandsons and their parents got a laugh out of it, anyway. The silly things we do to entertain our grandchildren.

Thanks for the welcome Shiela, and for the bird link. I had a look at your Belted Kingfisher. There are certainly some similarities to our Forest Kingfisher, although at 13 inches yours is much larger. Incidentally, on my trip to the N.T., I saw a Little Kingfisher which is very much like the Forest Kingfisher, but only about 10-12cm long. It is a rare bird to see, so I was really happy to be able to tick it off my twitch list.

Obviously congratulations are in order to you on the birth of twin grandchildren. My mother says being a grandmother is great - you get to share the wonderful times in the childrens lives without too much of the hard work. Doubly so for twins I'd imagine!!
