Hello Dear Gail, I shouldn't have been surprised to see that you remembered me this week. You're a warm, sypathetic person and I appreciate your thoughts very much. Also thanks for your comments on my photos too. I think it's time I took out the ones of my old house, now that it belongs to someone else, so I'll have to find some new ones. I keep in touch daily with Sudoku and still really enjoy it, but I rarely comment. Mainly it's because I was just spending way too much time on the computer and I have so much to do and sort out still. Liz is getting on just fine too and is very used to her cochlear now, but to be honest I don't notice much difference. It's still early days though and it takes a very long time to adjust apparently. I really love my new house, which is just perfect for me. Got to admit though that I really miss the birds I had at my old place. Thankyou again Gail.

Gail, good morning, really I’m so happy to receive wonderful comments from you, really you are so nice, I was in a trip to USA October 2002 I enjoyed it so much, now I’m working in Dubai (UNITED ARAB EMERITAS) for almost two years as a project manager, sure I’ll attach some pictures from Dubai to my page, so, welcome again any time to see more.

Thanks, Gail! I am also so relieved about Nigel. We have not been on vacation for over two years because of his diabetes. We found him on the golf course behind us when he was 10 weeks old and he doesn't trust easily.

Hello, Gail my friend! Just got my lovely bouquet of flowers--what a nice treat from a special lady. How are things at your end of the globe? We're having a long weekend of beautiful weather--too hot to garden but not too hot to go for a nice drive, which we're about to do (after we return our microwave which has a turntable that won't turn ... the fun never ends). Game of golf yesterday has me moving a little more slowly, but some in-line skating later when it cools down should loosen up these uncooperative muscles! (And some wine with dinner will help too). EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT - All Welcome

The very vivacious Viv from Port Macquarie is visiting Melbourne in October.
We are in the process of arranging a meet on October 5th at Southbank.

At the moment, nothing has been cemented in concrete but it will be a lunch at one of the many cafes along the southern bank of the Yarra River at 12.30.

Oh, Gail, how I wish I could meet you on the banks of the Yarra River on Oct. 5!! Thanks for the invite to Southbank - I'd love to come and meet all the Melbourne Sudoku-holics! :) I'll try to bring the man of the house, who seems to be addicted to the game as much as I am. Let us know the details - I'll do my best to be there - though at the moment this depends on the state of my parents' health - we're doing a lot of sudden trips to the country at the moment, which is not a lot of fun. :(

Hi Gail, Thanks for the anniversary wishes. I am not sure how you knew??? We had a very nice day, went out to dinner.
Yesterday was the second day Harry has been on the insulin pump. We are hoping this works as well as everyone says it will. His foot is still open just a little, sure hope it heals completely soon. We are in limbo until it is healed. I really would like to take a trip, I know why does a retired person need a vacation, we just do.

Hi Gail! Shikia is fine, she had her scans in June and the tumor had not got any bigger. Her next set of scans are at the end of the year and if there is still no increase in size of the tumor she will move to annual scans. Considering the circumstances this is good news.
