Hi Gail - thanks for the photo comments - you know my mother always said "if you can't afford the very best, at least learn how NOT to dribble in front of it!" I do try to follow her advice! Glad you enjoyed the pics - will try to get more on in the next few days.

Hi Gail, Thanks for stopping by my page. I haven't updated it in many months. I also haven't worked on the home videos either. Both are rainy/snowy day projects. I am still trying to figure it out. I do have a DVD player/burner in my computer. I can use my VCR/DVD player with my TV to transfer videos to DVD. But I am stuck at the next step. I can play the DVD's but I don't know how to "capture" them and save them in some digital/computer format. Sage advice from hubby would be welcomed!

G'day Gail. Thanks for the comment about the photo of the Erskine River. I can't take the credit, as Roger took it, but I thought it was worth putting up. You know until your comment I had no idea that the photos we put up for jigsaws can be used on that other site. It took some finding too but now I'll have to check it all the time because there is another one of mine on there today too. Anyway, thanks and cheers, pal.

Hi Gail, Jewelery by Uncle Sam, was worn this way to reduce jingling, and also to keep it out of rotating parts in the boats cramped engine compartment…

Gail!

Non smoking is going well, I only used the Nicotine gum for a couple of weeks, and have now completely weened myself off of that. Despite having friends who are smokers too, I have not even felt an urge to smoke when I am with them
:-)
All feeling rather smug and pleased with myself :-) hee hee

Hi Gail, thanks for stopping by, I don't get onsite too often these days, so it was nice that someone thought of me ♥ I try to catch up on all the goss but it seems like things are slipping by me lately.
My daughter is getting married in 5 weeks time and I'm going overseas 3 weeks after the wedding so things have been busy lately.
Hope all is well in your corner of the world

Hi, Gail:
Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the flowers in my yard!

I have a gardener cut the lawn and trim, but I don't think he trims the azaleas. This plant puts on nice show every year!

Hi Gail. You asked about an international Sudoku meet. I can see the reason for Tahiti, being half way between Oz and the US, and the tropical climate is probably very appealing to many. I'm not sure if I'd take part in any case, but if I did, probably Tahiti wouldn't be on my list of preferred places. I'm not saying I have a better alternative though.

Gail, sorry it has taken weeks to responded to your note. Between waiting for baby, having baby, then caring for baby... my computer has gathered dust. Our little Thomas was finally born on Aug 26, and he is a joy! I've put up a few pictures on my page. Thanks for checking in on us.

Hi Gail: I'm just back from being in Toronto for a few days and thought I'd check out your photos re the Archives on Sept. 12th on lichen. You have a lovely lot of fungi photos and some really Are lovely aren't they. I note you called them all fungi but I think I get the drift now about what lichen is. Thanks for saying about your pics. AND while I was there I took a gander at your Other pictures, you have a fine looking family, friends, cat, gardens... and all. Thanks again... cheers.

It has been too long, Kate. I have been busy homeschooling the grandchildren and ended up in the hospital this summer with pneumonia. Now I'm trying to catch up on all the projects that piled up while I was sick, but with quite the reduced energy. Time should heal, right? I loved all the cheery "smilie" inserts for my birthday greetings. Thank you for thinking of me when you have so much family and activities of your own. I loved your photo gallery, both the family pics and those of your local fungi varieties. You definitely look as if you have fun with your beautiful (and handsome) family! I was truly amazed at the variety of fungi colors and shapes. About all we see here is the occasional brown toadstool if you overwater some spot. What a lush area you must live in. I hope all is well with you and that we'll keep in touch more often this year.

Hi, Gail:
Thank you for the anniversary wishes! The actual date is Aug 22, but we were on vacation and had to wait to get together with our friends to celebrate when we had a mutually agreeable date.
Appreciate your kind words, though!
