Hello Gail,
Thanks for the bubbly, nibbles and kind wishes - sorry the reply was a bit tardy, but don't visit my page very often. I have returned your vist bearing a large plate of homemade rumballs. See that you're into fungi - they're fascinating aren't they!Cockatoo is a lovely area - we used to live at Menzies Ck ages ago. All the best, Giblet.

Hi Gail
Thanks for the visit to my page and the nice welcome. The Lady standing in frount of mount rushmore is my wife. We used to live in South Dakota that is where the pics were taken. I tryed to submit them for sudoku pics but they never were used. We now live in Urbandale IA a suburb of Des Miones. Picture taking is not as scenic here but by next summer the flower gardens will make nice pics.

Just touching base to see how things have gone with the birthday boy after staring on our site? Is he ready to join like some hubbies, or ready to run screaming...as far as he can go like my hubby? No matter, hope fun was had by all! Peace!

I am so glad the two of you had such a great time. I agree with you; we should make more time for our hubbies and vice versa.
Jim and I went to a football game on Saturday and had a great time. First time we were out in - what seems like - ages.

Hi Gail! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and your kind words on my page. My weight loss has taken over 3 years to accomplish, and I'm not even done yet! Ugh! Take care, and stop into my page anytime.

Hi Gail. Thanks for the invite. I strolled through your garden (after walking around the block to view the wonderful fungi!)and then stopped for a cuppa, surrounded by all your lovely kitties, curious to see what was in my bag (a loaf of apricot fruit bread from our local bakery for you and your family to enjoy -- it's delicious toasted and lightly buttered.)

I thank you for your visit. I wish I had the time to keep my page as nice as others I have seen! No pictures, no links. Maybe someday I'll have the time to do that, and then I'll get more traffic. But thanks for the bubbly. I'll be sure and enjoy that - it's Friday here, so I'm looking forward to the weekend!

Hello, Gail. Thanks for calling by. I'm only 'home' occasionally, so to find a visitor has been is rather nice. You sure live in a pretty part of this fair state. One of my late Mum's favourite things to do was to go for a drive in the Dandenongs - it always lifted her spirits. It seems a long time since I've done that, as she's been gone a few years now. One day .....

Hi, Gail. Thank you for visiting my page. I have visited your page many times before looking at your photos but I have never left a message. So sorry about that, your photos are great. You commented about my sisters and my legs, well the three oldest sisters are all bigger but my youngest sister, who is in her 40s, is very fit and so her legs are great still, as she skis, bikes and runs all the time.

Hi Gail
Thanks for your comment on my page. I am still so angry about what happened. Sitting here with my littlest cat (Pilton) and I just struggle to understand that mentality.
Jennifer has decided she would still like another cat, and after speaking to the RSPCA they will try and make it a house cat.
On a lighter note, its the school holidays, and Toria is having a whale of a time this week at a Dance Club.

Gail, for your best wishes for James 18th birthday yesterday. My 'baby' is all grown up now. I can't believe that he is finally an adult - maybe I will if he ever leaves home!
We took him out for dinner last night and sent him up to buy the drinks. I think he was disappointed that no-one asked to see his ID. They hadn't at lunch when his older brother took him to the pub. I don't think he looks that old yet and I'm sure the oldest is jealous as they always ask for his ID.
He is going out with his mates on Friday to the nightclubs - another friend will join them after midnight when he turns 18 on Saturday. They are pretty keen - I will be tucked up in my bed long before that.

Hi Gail, thanks for stopping in. That was very strange yesterday but I must say that in an odd way I was having a lot of fun even if I was just talking to myself. Turns out that it was a game of hide and seek and fortunately I was able to eventually find the new day. Take care Gail.

Thank you for the Birthday Wishes last week. I had dinner with Mom that evening. She then flew up to Portland, OR for a Class Reunion (68th) and flew back for the wedding on Saturday of her only grand-nephew (my cousin’s son – 41, first marriage). Mom (85) refused to take a nap after getting up at 3 am for the flight back and insisted on driving (through Los Angeles to Orange County) for the wedding – she still drives fast. By the time we got to there we were not speaking & the drive back was even worse – getting home around midnight. The wedding & reception was wonderful (so was the beach party the night before, which Mom had missed). Dad always said the reason we fight, was because we are so much alike – both strong willed women. But, we will always love each other. I left Tuesday, had a meeting in No. Calif. Wednesday afternoon, and decided to camp at Burney Falls State Park – making my dog happy, before returning home. The back is still bothering me – but no violent pains – more of the gnawing variety and when standing up after sitting too long (so there were a lot of stops on the way down and on the way home). Thanks for the good wishes – I’m safe if not sound.

I'm back! With my titanium knee and a good supply of painkillers. My agenda for today is to see of I can get down the track to the beach. Merlin can chase the seagulls and I can breathe in the ozone and rejoice in this quiet, almost-spring day.

Hi, Gail! That's quite interesting and pretty fungi you have photographed! I haven't been able to spend much time at SA3 lately, and the next 2 weeks will be away from a computer. As I suffer my withdrawal symptoms, I'll be thinking of you and all the other SA regulars. Just think, it will "almost" be spring for you by the time I can post again. Take care, and I hope to "see" you again soon!

Hey Gail, thanks for dropping by - I enjoyed the bottle of "bubbly" that you left for me. I have not been around much because of friends and family visiting from all over. My daughter is home from England for 2 weeks and I am just loving it!! Hope you are well - I am leaving you a special bottle of SPIER Chenin Blanc wine from SA - MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE at the moment - am normally a "Chardonnay girl".

Howdy, Gail! Thanks for stopping by my page! And thanks for all the goodies! I'm dropping off a bottle of Muscat Canelli-Late Harvest from Messina Hof, our local winery. It's super sweet, but really tasty!
Oh, and my birthday was in April, but I don't think I posted those until much later. I just have dial-up at home, so I usually have to wait until I have a better connection to upload stuff. I was definitely surprised at work, but it was all alot of fun! Hope you have a fabulous week!

Hi Gail,
I've been around, doing the puzzles but after I read all the posts I don't have the time to say anything!
I left you some homemade peach icecream! It's really yummy, I do hope you enjoy it. Also, a bottle of PA Niagra wine.

Hi Gail! Sorry I've taken so long to reply - my keyboard packed it in and I keep forgetting to leave you a message when I'm at work. Yes! Cartrophin is the miracle injection that has helped Schultz - and is now working a second time. It wasn't as fast the second time but eventually just as effective. He's a big dog who can now walk and stand to do his business again. I think we'll try and keep them going maybe fortnightly or once every three weeks. He's also back on his arthritis medication so is getting a bit more pain relief. We've basically had to do physio on him this time as the time period he couldn't walk really wasted one leg muscle - the other leg seems better and he kept using that one to scratch so the muscle tone didn't fade as much. We're really amazed and pleased. I hope they have drugs that good when I get to be needing them! And that I can afford them! Fortunately he's never been a run-amok type dog or the enforced leisure would have been cruel but all he's ever wanted from life is love, treats, food, tummy rubs, the occasional car ride, sunshine and a warm bed inside. He still had all those even when he couldn't walk at all.
