Hi Sharon, thanks for the birthday wishes! I'm having a lazy start to the day and the children aren't even awake yet. I'm sure they'll be up soon and I'll find out what I'm getting as a pressie (I've been getting some hints that it's something big but I have no idea what it is.)

Shosho, thanks for visiting and for your kind words. Ocicats are typically lean and muscular. Holmes was a bit of a 'runt' but we brought him home because he and his brother stuck to each other when we went to visit the new litter. Moriarty seemed to protect Holmes and so it was a happy accident that Holmes came to us--it hadn't been our intention to come home with two cats. Ironically, Moriarty died at age eight of injection-site cancer and his little brother Holmes was the one who trooped on. Even yesterday, he tried bravely to walk though his little legs wouldn't support him. Always the underdog, he was still courageious to the end.
