Thinking of you a lot, I have been there, trying to do the juggling act, a little different for me as I live interstate but in the year after Mum passed, I made every effort to get back once every two months to spend the weekend with my father, just so I could see he was ok. He now has a lovely woman friend in his life, and having her there has eased my mind so much, she is by his side every time he needs to have a minor surgery etc, which is no mean feat at the age of 83!
Take every second that you can to take a breather and look after yourself. Keeping you in my thoughts ♥

Thank you so much Sharon! Last year was a very trying one. But, thankfully, he is ALL well! the cancer was contained inside the esophageal wall and had not metastasized to the lymph nodes! we are blessed - and yes, I need to include myself on that trip to the Dr.
