Fantastic does not quite do it justice Suzy, and thank you for your share in it. Dinner with 2 of the Sydney living kiddos (and hubby), then the most marvellous Carole King and James Taylor concert, a birthday breakie with daughter 3, candles at a work tea, and dinner out with friends!!! Greetings from my Sudoku friends put the icing on the cake. I feel sooo spoiled!

Thanks, Suzy! How funny! I price mine not to sell also! I am in a panic tonight because I fear I didn't put a high enough price on one of them! I believe that if you don't put your heart and soul into a painting it always shows.

Your mother and I would understand each other perfectly! I once priced a postcard-sized painting at $175 and it sold!
Today I won first, second AND third place ribbons for my orchid paintings at the Orchid Society Flower Show! (Maybe I won't tell you that it was a VERY small exhbit!)

Your mother's video recognition may not be her idea of fun, but if she thinks about how she can encourage the kids into creativity, it's not all bad!

Suzy, thank you so much for celebrating my birthday with me last week, I had so much fun reading all the posts.
As you know my family went out to dinner that night, then the next day we had yet another party for Hannah's 16th. I then had the pleasure of a lunch on Sunday with some of our Sudoku family who spoiled me wonderfully.
It doesn't get much better than that!

Your daughter would have been perfect for the Zombie March in Melbourne on May 1. 2 of my sons march each year in various inappropriate outfits but it is so much fun - love seeing the tourists reactions.

Hi Suzy - Even better than teenagers - I should be embarassed to admit it but the 2 that go in the zombie shuffle are 30 & 31. Don't think they ever really grow up but I wouldn't have it any other way - there is never a dull moment!!They are on you-tube - will get you the link. My daughter is 19 and will be with them next year - she was in Bendigo for"groovin in the moo" festival and came back to Melb. that night for Pat's "under the bridge" party in Footscray.

So VERY pleased for you getting a Distinction at Uni and the only one at that. Way to go.

Thanks for popping in for my birthday Suzy - yes I had a lovely day but it was a little hot and stormy - sticky to go with the cake!

Nope, Suzy! No energy left to celebrate last night. So Jaime and I will be heading down to Fernandina Beach in a couple of days to our favorite restaurant. Better late than never, eh? ♥Jane
