Hi Kate, I was just posting a message on Kathy/Valrico's page and saw one from you to her. I also trained as a nurse! So there's another similarity. I trained in Melbourne, finishing in 1967!!!

Hi Kate: your right I don't comment very much, but

it was only 23 Hr's to the next season as it's been

Love your fish bowl Kate, I fed them plenty.

My Girlie-girl loves any thing that goes Vroom. Lucky for us we live next door to some wonderful nieghbors that have a Harley Davidson Ralley each year and have lots of Vroom Vrooms to keep her happy. The girl may not know her ABC's or 123's But she can show and tell you different types of bikes, tractors and 4-wheelers.

I have tried to update her pictures lately, but Flickr and I are not getting a long. So hopefully I will try again soon.

Thanks for visiting.

Hi Kate, I have not been able to go on the internet until tonight so have not replied to any of the notes you copied onto my page. Thank you for doing that. The keyboard that I am using is a German one so some letters are in a different place. We are having a good holiday but it is very cold. It has snowed several days. Bye for now will try and send you another note soon.

Well Kate sometimes I wonder why people want to come and live in Canada. I was born and raised here, I am use to winter, but this has to be the worst one I ever saw. I do not remember that much snow in such a short while. We have had snow since november 15 and it doesn't seem to end. Mind you we have summer...3 months of nice weather if we are lucky. In autumn we have 2-3 months of so so weather, the leaves on the maple trees turn to all kinds of colors and it is a beautiful season. I like fall the best. Spring brings a lot of rain and thunder and lightning. It only looks great when flowers start to grow...crocus,tulips,lilac trees and other. I still like Canada because it is a peaceful country and close to all my relatives.

I been feeding your fish - what fun and your roses are wonderful. Thanks for the information. I do find a green icon off to the right - says: public viewing. I'll have to come back later to play around with it. The sky is really a different color today - just looks nasty this morning, hope you sky is blue, thanks again so much. Mary

your fish are sleeping tonight. I tried to put the fish on my horse site board, but it didn't take. Thank you so much for your help, I went and started all over again, didn't work, I do know the picture was large, so I just changed it to medium but still not coming too. I'll ask my sister to email me a picture and see how I do with that. thanks again. mary

Hello Kate - a very belated visit to your page and even later thank you for my very loooong ago birthday wishes and also for your lovely comments about my sunrise photo.
I haven't submitted any new photos to the site for ages as the last two batches never seemed to show up. When I have more time to myself as I have had family staying with me and will continue to do so for a bit longer, maybe I'll be able to spend more time doing things like that.

HI Kate

Thanks for dropping in. The photo you asked about is my son and my grandmother (his great-grandie). My son is about to turn 10 (on Good Friday) and my grandmother turned 95 last December, although this piccy was taken about 12 mths ago. I don't know how I'm going to deal with my son when my grandmother eventually passes away - they are SO close. His biggest wish is that he can get to take her for a drive in his car when he turns 18.......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !

My grandmother lives independantly in a big old victorian house...her only concessions are. 1. she doesnt do her own supermarket run any more (quote: I always hated doing it anyway)...2. She gets Meals on Wheels since my grandfather passed away 8 years ago (age 99) (quote: Why should I cook when someone else will do it AND deliver it) and 3. Stays at mum's house 2 nights a week (quote: You father brings me breakfast in bed 2 mornings a week, why would I stay at home?)

Col, that's a wonderful relationship for you mother & son. I know how you feel about how he'll cope with her death and that it'll be hard for you also. It sounds like she is very well at the moment & I guess you'll all have to enjoy as many days as you can get, not necessarily physically, with her.

Hi Kate, we are in Milton Keynes with Jenni now but we both have very bad colds. Ian went to the Doctor's today and got some Amoxicillin Capsules and decongestant tablets. I got some cold & flu 24 Hour Capsules from Boots. So hopefully we will both stop coughing. We all go up north on Friday.

Kate, ain't it the truth?!?!? I've found myself going somewhere and once there I have forgotten why I went there in the first place!
I loved your fish that I went to the widget sight to see if I could get something similar. Tried for the penguins but couldn't.

Hi Kate: I continue to admire the beautiful Australian flowers, most differ from ours. Spring has arrived, however, we still have about a foot of snow on the flat - a longer than usual winter. I dropped by to wish you and your family a Happy Easter, along with a great Spring. Cheers.

Kate - the photos were taken from my front balcony. The roof(s) are my neighbours. The panoramic picture was photo-stiched from about 7 shots and takes in about 180 degrees.
