Hi Rolanda. I'm so sorry but I forgot that you asked me about what we did in Perth, in preparation for CynB coming over. Here's a quick list - mall, Hilary's Boat Harbour, the beaches - Scarborough etc., Adventure World, Kings Park, museum, Fremantle (loved prison tour, not so much the markets), Rottnest. I hope it's not too late!

Sorry to say but I won't be able to make the get together on Thursday. I have caught some dreadful flu thing and have been coughing fit to burst. I will not be at work tomorrow or Wednesday so I will have to go into work on Thursday if I am able and if not then I won't be fit for get together either.

Good news!... Baby Thomas is here! He was born over a week late (hubby won that bet), Aug. 26, at 8lb.2oz. (3.5-4kg?) and 22.5 inches. We are all well and happy (though tired). I've put up a few pictures on my page.

Hi Rolanda, it's bee a while! Thanks for all of your messages (birthday, anniversary, etc) The picture of Albany on your page is magnificent and the pictures of all of your flowers are lovely! I wish I had some flowers around my house. I don't have a green thumb and it takes alot of work to keep it up. Your garden is beautiful!! Looks you guys had a great meet. Ha ha - yea - I think the Commonwealth Bank (where I worked at the time) used to put their young employees names into the contest. I certainly wasn't a great beauty but I got the photos done and raised some money for them mostly (with the help of my poor parents - of course). I pulled out once I had raised a bit of money and was left with some incentive prizes and that was enough.

Hi Rolanda! Woo-hoo indeed! As long as we don't look down at our horrid floor which has yet to be fixed (and not using our chequebook), we can really appreciate what a finished kitchen should look like. What a long, arduous haul it was.
I happily browsed through your beautiful photo gallery--your garden and each flower in it is absolutely breathtaking. I especially like the clivia--so exotic. Thank you for sharing such lovely flowers!
