Hi Eve. Just catching up with the reading since my last post Monday Page 2 and have read about your poor foot! I hope it is recovering well, but did you get a Tetanus injection (unless you've had one recently)! Having a painful foot is not much fun at any time, but at this time of the year when you probably have too many things to do, it must be awful. i am very sorry for you!

Mmmm. "Sugar pie honey bunch." Now that's a real "Temptation" isn't it? I grew up in the Detroit area, so Motown songs are just about like national anthems to me. They sort of soak in from hearing them on the clock radio between sleeping and waking.

Hi Eve! I'm slowly catching up on Sudoku after our long trip through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, & Cambodia. Thank you for your birthday greeting on Dec. 4. I had a very special day which began when we watched the sun rise at Angkor Wat in Cambodia - unforgettable! I have posted only one
picture of our trip on my page so far, but I will try to whittle down the thousands of pictures we took to just our favorites & post them on Flickr as soon as I can find time. Meanwhile, Rob & I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. It will be 2009 before we know it! I guess that while we swelter in Darwin you may swelter at home and may even have to work!!

Here’s the traditional
LEMON CORDIAL
Ingredients:
Juice of 7 large lemons
Grated rind of 5 large lemons
1 kg sugar
1.25 litres of water
25g citric acid
Method:
1.In a large pan, boil up sugar, water, grated peel and citric acid.
2.Take off and add juice, If preferred, this may be strained.
3.Bottle whilst still hot into clean, sterilised (in oven) bottles
Mix it with gin and soda if you want an alcoholic drink. I prefer staight soda

The float was fantastic...great animation and congratulations to all involved. A very joyful bit of fantasy!
I had a great time over the holidays...bittersweet but filled with love and good memories as well...only problem, we all got sick as we were about to head home...I don't think I had fully recovered before going, but are all now feeling lots better after meds have done there jobs as well as a little time.
Thanks for the support in Penn State's defeat...they looked really bad, but that's life...now my Phillies have won...The Sixers and Flyers have made the playoffs as have the Eagles...but its been a hard road to go all the way...perhaps its time..... GO EAGLES...thanks for adding your cheers to mine....I agree that its hard to keep saying wait until next year!!!

I saw your float in the parade, Eve! So I had a "sneak peek". I also saw Shosho's pics on her page of when it was being built. You and the others on the crew did a great job
on the award!

Eve - I'm so thrilled your float won an award...and I can see why they gave it an award for outstanding animation. I was awed at all the wonderful moving parts that went along with the song. What a fun task (and hard work, too).

Eve, I saw the float New Years, always try to watch the parade. It deserved the award for best animation it was outstanding. So many moving parts to worry about. It was nice to see the float again on your Utube. You and the others did a great job decorating the float.
An ex-BIL use to drive one of the football floats, don't know if he still does.

Oh Eve, meeting you was like a continuation of a friendship that we started on-site! You are soooo knowledgeable that it was truly enjoyable walking through the Gardens! Hope we'll be able to get together again soon!
