Hi Stella, thanks for stopping by. My daughter just graduated from high school (straight A's this year). She enrolled in the local community college yesterday, then will go to the university from there. She wants to be a dentist of all things. You have a lovely looking family, did your son just graduate too? Take care, Cindy

Stella for visiting my page. You have great family photos on your page. Four beautiful children. I have three, two boys and a girl in the middle. They are a little older than yours and I have one granddaughter, who is nineteen months old, as well.

Hi Stella,
Thanks for your message on my page from a couple of weeks ago, but I've just discovered it. I stopped visiting the SA page - life got in the way for a bit, but then there was never anyone there when I called in..and the novelty of talking to myself wore off! Hope all goes well.

Stella, what absolutely tragic news to learn about the death of Corporal Christopher Scherer. I will certainly say a prayer for the family he left behind. So very sad. I can only hope that with compassionate friends rallying around, everyone's burden of grief will be somehow lighter. Blessings and heartfelt sympathy to all who knew him.

Stella, I am so sorry to learn of the death of Cpl. Scherer. I grieve for him & all the family & friends who loved him. This sadness is being repeated far too often in so many places all around our country & the world. Funny how much harder it is to take when it hits someone we know. May God bless & comfort those Christopher fought to protect & left behind.

On the Quilting Page, I posted the story about how the 'T-shirt Quilt' was made - it ended up being a comforter because of all of the batton, the backing used for the T-shirts added a weight to it. I will leave it to the LaCaƱada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Assoc, to auction off. It definetly holds memories for me, but I know others in the Assoc. that share those memories of the first 20 years. (Were pushing up on 30 years now). Thank you for asking about the picture (it is laying accross two twin beds). Glad you enjoyed the song & hope you visted the websites. They are heroes in the trueist since of the word. I don't want to see them spit upon, as they were with Nam.

Hi, Stella!
Thank you for visiting my page and for your kind words about my pictures. Well, at it is nice at the Spring time here, a lot of beautiful flowers. And now, I just have no patience to go around it is so HOT.
Just looked through your pictures. It is so big and lovely family you have.
And scenery pictures are beautiful, and so refreshing to look at, specially in the hot weather.
By the way, the name of the place is ''Smuggler's Notch' Interesting, what are they smuggle there?
I wish all very best to you and all your big family. Please accept a dozen of my freshly baked bagels for breakfast, and a chocolate cake for desert.
Cheers, Vera

Hello, I had to come by and listen to your Youtube. America is one of my favourites. Looked at your flickr pics and picture gallery. I just love the pic of the Whitestone Bridge, the lighting is just awesome. Your pictures of Smuggs in the winter look a lot like where I live but our trees tend to shed the snow more. I like how the trees look when they are covered in that much snow.

Hi Stella, Thanks for dropping in to my page. Sorry I wasn't there to say hello. I was in the kitchen baking some Blueberry Muffins from fresh berries. I brought some for you and your family. My kids love them, I hope yours do to. The recipe calls for 1 cup of berries, but usually I need 2 cups (one is to appease my 'helpers'!)

Stella thank you for visiting my page. Hope you were able to go through the pics of our pride and joy.
I love the picture of your children and the horse. Here we have the Waco Cows. I have an extra minute today--somehow--so I thought I would stroll through you pictures. One of my favorite past times is seeing what others see.

Stella, thanks so much for dropping by with your anniversary wishes--how thoughtful of you! We've been having a great time these last 25 years (as well as during the 8 1/2 years we dated before getting married), so we're planning to keep the fun going for at least another 25. Thanks for thinking of me, and have a terrific day (and stay cool!)

Stella darling, I was in SA3 last night during the sleepless wee hours. You tickle me pink with your commentaries. I have never been known as a quiet person nor one to be down long. Thank you for your invite and I will be happy to join you at times.
By the way, I thought SA was for people who had an addiction to Sudoku. I had planned on coming in to tell about my future addiction. But not once did I read--'Hi my name is So-in-So, and I am a Sudokualic.' Anyway, it works for me--anywhere I can chat and be chatted at is going to be a wonderful place.

Who did I give that Pat Paulsen for President book to?
Pat Paulsen has/had a winery in No. Cal. (around Windsor in Sonoma Co.) The label on the bottle was the traditional picture of him as the farmer with the pitch fork and I don't remeber who his wife was on it?
That is where I got a whole bunch of 'Pat Paulsen for President' stuff. Before this last move I was looking at it & I think I gave it to some one - don't rember seeing it during the move.

Smothers Brothers also had a winery - theirs was in Napa Co. As kids they lived next door to a friend of mine. On Foothill Blvd. in Tujunga, CA - at the corner where Hi-fi Sound Mart was, you could find their first attempt at stardom - their handprints imbedded in the city sidewalk when it was poured ala: Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

CONGRATULATIONS - on being the 1st runner-up in our silly yet fun contest. May I be the first to congratulate you.
Which sounds better 'first runner-up' or 'second place winner'?
The entire results - program list, etc are on my page 3. You can see what you have won and your next task: determining the coefficient of programs to age.
