Hi Mo--I still get a tug at my heartstrings when I look at your photo of Houpette ...
We're headed to France in one week! Will be staying for three days near Rocamadour, planning to see Sarlet, Saint Cirq Lapopie, maybe the Lascaux caves, possibly do some cycling. Have you any suggestions of anything we absolutely must see? Restaurant recommendations? (I'm not quite sure if this is exactly your neck of the woods, so forgive me if my questions are daft!) Hope all is well with you and your lovely garden!

Mo - What a heavenly garden you have! Love the views, too. You pictures of Sammie remind me so much of my cheeky little devil, Panda. We have almost an acre and beyond our property lots more acreage for her to do her "duty" in...but she LOVES my planted and groomed areas best!

Hi Mo! I just enjoyed a stroll through your garden. You have done an amazing job of transforming a piece of land into a delightful garden. And I'm sure it will just continue to get better & better. Thanks for showing us around. Please let us know when you add more pics.

PS, love the rose. That's one that I would select too! That and the Evelyn Baugh one too, similar but paler and has a strong fragrance.

Hi Mo...you know me...always up for a party...have probably missed out on all the fun at this late hour...obviously I should have started reading here before catching up on easy...haven't done any reading for a few days.
I can't find any party animals anywhere...feel free to cruise on over to my place...plenty of wine to help us all party.
I was gobbsmacked with the beauty of Yolande d'Aragon...does she smell as good as she looks? She is deeper in hue to Mary Rose / Chaucer [or any of those fair damsels] which is really good...must look out for her.

When are you planning the hen night party Mo? I will be around off and on over the next few days as I have a busy weekend end ahead of me. Both of my children turn twenty so I'm having a party for them over the weekend. Twenteen again as they keep saying! Let me know what you are planning, cheers x

Just visited your roses GannieMo. They are gorgeous! My favourite is the striped pink and white one or the pink one with all the petals. I can't decide, maybe I'll have both. My dad grows beautiful roses although he insists on red and white ones only. Maybe that's why I like the pink ones so much .

Seems like I was neglectful in thanking you for the heads up about Billy's marriage...How wonderful, Thanks...I was able to at least leave a message on her page. Guess the party can always be held later since you weren't really feeling up to snuff....hope you are soon on the road to full recovery.
I'm trying to arrange things so that I can get to the Florida meet, wish you could make that one and I'd finally get to meet you too...but someday perhaps......

Hope your vertigo is going, going, gone!
Does it stem from an ear problem? They often find that is a cause.

Thought of you with a smile as I was loading up the cart with flowers today. Planting in earnest begins tomorrow, as does putting out the patio furniture and taking the hard top off the Miata. It was so delightful to speak with you, Mo, and to take in some of the dramatic beauty of your part of France. We truly enjoyed our vacation and will be talking about it for a long while. We're just in the process of getting our photographs developed so I hope I can get those onto Flickr soon. I'm sure you're out enjoying your garden, and once I get everything planted and the weeds yanked, I will too! Tomorrow night, when all the chores are done, hubby and I will raise a glass of Vouvray to you!

Mo, thanks for the birthday greeting, so nice to hear from so many on my special day. Hubby and I have a day of shopping and lunch planned for today, so not a bad way to spend the day. I will not have to cook, nice enough.
That rose on your page, Oh my, lovely. Reminds me of a rose my Mom had. she could not grow anything, poor dear, but had this one lovely running rose along the fence that thrived on neglect, a two color red and yellow, with HUGE long perfectly shaped buds and a delicious smell. It was called Talisman. I once found one grower that about once every 3 years offered it still. I do hope someday to have one of them again. Your rose brings back sweet memories.

Ouch, ouch, ouch, Mo. I had a couple of wisdom teeth out many years ago and the swelling didn't go down for almost two weeks! Nasty business, so I hope you take good care of yourself. I sympathize and hope you heal soon.

Hi Mo. Do you ever sell Pandora bracelets and charms? Just a thought as I would like to buy one in the near future and your name sprung to mind. I hope your mouth is feeling better now. I've just had a crown done and that was bad enough! Take care xx

Your roses are so beautiful there, GM. We have had many bushes, but our soil is not rose friendly.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know, your workman stories, make me feel better. That is not nice to say, but you are so lucky, you have a choice to possibly replace your workmen. We have been renovating for the past 5-ish years and nothing is completed. I cannot fire my workman, since I also sleep with him. I do not recommend this setup. Really makes it hard to fire and replace him.
Best of wishes for getting your tasks done.
