Cathy - thank you for your kind words of condolence on the loss of my husband's mother. She as 102 years old and had lived a long and amazing life. We are sorry to see her go, but knew it was time.

Thanks Cathy. It was just Lynne and I, but I wanted it to be low key. Count all my friends on line, and it was quite a party.

Cathy, I have pleasant memories of visiting Banff and I see you have been to Park City. Thank you for the birthday wishes and I did have a special day, partially because of the wishes from Sudoku people like you!

I woke feeling very well this morning, and hubby and I have just got back from having a nice light lunch out at a little cafe we like to frequent.

Cathy, I was sorry to read about the death of your MIL. In view of her struggles with dementia it may be a blessing that she is now reunited with her husband & they can rest in peace TOGETHER. Please extend my sympathy to your husband. As you & I both know it's so hard to lose your mother no matter when or how.

For your sweet post, Cathy. I talked to my dad yesterday (my brother is caring for him this week) and he sounded in very good spirits. He is almost 4 weeks post-op on the heart surgery and I think this is when he is suppose to really start to feel improvement. Just wish he didn't have to take so many meds...but maybe it won't be forever.
So wonderful to friends around the world sending prayers and warm wishes. Thank you!

Hi Cathy! Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a wonderful birthday this year. Yesterday the kids were here and cooked dinner and cleaned up! I also got to play with Izabella! It was a great day!

Hi! Me again! Thanks for checking out my "baby" pictures! She has been so much fun and she is only a week and a half old! We are just in awe with her! She reminds me so much of her mom, Angi, when she was a baby.

Thank you, for your condolence message about Maggie. She was a great companion who gave unconditional love and affection. I have to believe she is in a better place.

Cathy, thanks for the upbeat birthday wishes. Not sure where my vim has gone. Maybe it chased my vigor out the door.

Nothing that the vet found explained my cat's behavior. The vet had no idea what it was or what caused it. His potassium was low (a side effect of diabetic/insulin dependant cats) so the vet gave him supplemental potassium. Unfortunately, it upset his tummy and he refused to eat. Since it's very important for a diabetic cat to eat, I decided to stop the potassium. It's the lesser of two evils. The vet checked his eyes and his vision was fine. He actually seemed somewhat possessed during the episode. He's been fine since that episode.
