No question! She's really a little Angel! And it looks as if there is more than one cute one on your page. You are so blessed!
Your trip looked like it was very nice... but was that rain I saw on the window? I'll be in the UK in September.

Mama - what good news - to have your family close and little Angelique near.
I know, that I often harp on the importance of writing your family history down for posterity (grands great-grands, etc). At some point in one's life, one remembers the ancestors they knew even briefly as a child. To understand their life, struggle and accomplisments, along with their dreams, beliefs and desires in context of the times.
Some stories have been handed down orally, others can be found in newspapers or video. In my research on GG-Grandfather, I came across brother-in-law's autobiography that had a slightly different view of my GG-Gf than the one handed down orally and even recorded in the media of the day (obits). Often family histories, dwell on only the "good" and overlook the bad. In this case it overlooked the true strength of the family - my gg-grandmother and ggg-grandmother. They were heriones (in my view) - in "just" the upbringing of their children. My Mom, had a hard time with the comments in the brother-in-laws autobiography about the grand-parent her mother idolized.
Oh yes, every family has some skeletons in their closets that we like to over-look. But sometimes by bringing these to light, can be a learning and teaching experience to future generations. I almost regret that in the family history I wrote up for 2000 on my father's side, that I did not include how a couple of my cousins died. Maybe some one in the future could learn from their deaths.
One died because of a jealous X-husband, another was a druggie that was decapitated while driving under the influence. I know these are embarassing to the family. Discussions with some children could be helpful, others (direct decendents of the druggie) it could be very harmful - depending on how it is handled and the person. Maybe it was best to leave these detail out, but the whole story of their lives is being burried.
You may also want to write letters to Angelique to be given to her on her sixteenth birthday. Letting her know your thoughts on issues, times, faith, the love you see, the joy she brings you, your hopes for her, etc. (1 a week - 16 years = 800 letters). With this, she will have a wonderful understanding of you, your values that can influence her life.

In regards to good news - it doesn't sell. There is no money in it. It is ashame that in today's world - MONEY TALKS - everything else walks (usually un-noticed). (3 & 4 letter words that can't be posted here starting with S & P) sell, gore sells, humiliation of icons sell, disasters sell, etc. Heroism is so often overlooked - even locally for a story on some "Star's" bad or good behavior.
We don't even know the source of the money that is "talking", much less worry about it. We hear things often enough, we start beliving it and the truth becomes irrelevant. What is it that Pilate asked: "What is truth?" Is it what we are being sold and who is selling it and why?
I find it harder to fine good stories. Many that I hear about, when checked on Snopes are false or overstated. I know in my heart, that people are naturally good, loving & caring - at least that is what I choose to believe. This site is a validation of that belief.

Hi Mamacita: I just re-read your comments on my page. (I missed the "more" the first time.) Thanks for the sandwiches & beer. One day I'll have to try a real one. I keep hearing about Philly Cheese Steak. Though I've driven through PA, I've never had the sandwich...
Have a great afternoon.

Hi, Mamacita. Ah, 'tis a sweetheart ya' are.. I appreciate the offer to point me in the right direction for a proper "Philly Cheese Steak". Unfortunately, for me, my driving days are about done. My last driving job was delivering new Freightliner trucks. (48 states and Canada.) The northeast and southeast were two areas that I seldom got a chance to go. Our "dispatch" was in seniority order. I retired from Professional driving in March of 2001. Since then, I have made only two trips, both to the mid-section of California. Both to see a retired "Navy buddy". The talk on the news about fuel prices only goes part way. I have a diesel pickup. The price of diesel has jumped over $1.50 a gal., in the last year. From the least expensive motor vehicle fuel to the most expensive... I recently figured that it would cost 3 times as much to drive as to fly to San Diego. Guess what? I'm flying! Have a great day!!!!!! Drive save and enjoy Florida

Hi Mamacita, thank you for dropping in and the kind welcome to Sudokuland. I have just looked at your pictures and what a fine family you have. I also see that you recently celebrated your 52nd Anniv. in April -
Congratulations and you both look so happy - again
. Thank you also for the goodies, what a great time I'm going to have. You're not so awfully across the border, so you must have had a similar winter to our this year... long and tooo much snow... right! The TV just said we might wake in the morning to wet snow flurries - I don't believe it - its the end of May (nearly). Well that will make Summer all the sweeter won't it and the trees are in leaf, the flowers are blooming, so life is good. I'll leave you some pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast, hope you enjoy (especially if its snowing - lol). Thanks for the visit, come again anytime for a chat.

Hi, Mamacita, and thanks for your visit! As I recall, at about the time I joined, several of the group were asking after your husband's health. That may be why I slipped in w/o meeting you. It was so nice of you to stop by my page, and thanks for your lovely gifts. Here is a jar of pickled okra -- hope you like it, we have lots!
be with you too, dear!

Mamacita, Thank you for the well wishes for Kevin getting his MBA. It was a hard decision for him to do a career change & go back to school.
Haven't stopped by since you got back from Europe. I hope you enjoyed both Paris & London, I loved both when we were there. Looking at your pictures reminds me of the wonderful time we had & makes me want to return.

Thank you Mama for making my birthday a special one, and thank you for the Stevie Wonder song.
Many sudoku friends from around the world coming to visit me and wishing me a Happy Birthday have overwhelmed me.
My Husband and sons took me out to dinner to a Chinese Restaurant, and on the Sunday, we had a delicious Roast Dinner at MIL’s.
